A lovely cottage on the shore of Lake Päijänne offers peace and comfort for up to 8 people. The premises consist of the main building, a new barn building, and a lakeside sauna. The toilet and running water are located in the main building. The renovated wood-fired sauna and gently sloping beach are suitable for families. A grill, a muurikka, an electric smoker, a rowboat, and fishing gear complete the equipment. The main cabin, which was completed in the 1960s, has been cold in the winter, so the traditional smell and atmosphere of the cottage are a part of it.

Come unwind in a peaceful and cozy cabin with family, friends, or even a small work team. The cabin is in a quiet location, but still close to the activities and hustle and bustle of Himoksa. The nearest downhill ski slopes are about 3 km away, and the ski resort is about 6 km away. On weekends, you can visit Himos Arena to listen to artists and enjoy the great atmosphere. In the summer, there is a swimming spot about 300 meters away, so it’s easy to go for a morning swim. There’s plenty to do all year round!

The cottage is on the lower part of the property by a private beach. You can relax by the fireplace, go to sauna or go swimming into the lake. There is a central heating and an additional fireplace, indoor toilet, shower and sauna. Drinking water from tap. During summer you can relax on hammock or by the outdoor fireplace. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
