Cottage vacation rentals in Lake of the Woods

Lovely place. The directions from the host are very helpful-our GPS alone got us close but not quite there. One quick warning-the bathroom doors are sliding barn style doors and don’t lock. This is absolutely fine if you’re with other adults-they stay closed if you leave them alone-but a child, or in our case, a small dog with separation anxiety, can leave you with some unexpected exposure that could be a little awkward. I was very glad we were meeting family, not staying with them. That aside, the cottage was lovely. It has a small fenced area that was awesome to let us and the beasties hang out off leash.

The house and location was amazing! What an awesome back yard right on the river, huge deck and clean hot tub and bbq. We will definitely be visiting here again when we're in town.

Wonderful host and the place was exactly as advertised. Had a great stay. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again when visiting.

This property is breathtaking. The sunsets over the vineyard is incredible. Agnieszka in the winery is wonderful. The cottage we stayed in was updated and clean. The host was flexible and everyone on property was welcoming and knowledgeable. We stumbled upon a member dinner and it was magical. The beds were comfortable we had great water pressure! Would highly recommend. Will absolutely visit again.

Pro's: Our family stayed at this location for a week. It was very comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful and the amenities were very nice. Suggestions: The walkway steps outside could be better lit. The lights on them are very dim. I missed a step one night in the dark and nearly fell. The kitchen could be better stocked with dishes. We cooked most of our meals in house and were surprised at how minimally the kitchen was stocked.

I had a wonderful time at the carriage house. Margaret has put a lot of attention into the details to make this a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. I could happily live there. Our hosts were delightful, accessible, and made us feel quite welcome. It was great to be at a location where we could park our car and walk to restaurants, Lithia Park, and the OSF. The garden was a treat and a delightful place to relax. I hope to be lucky enough to book it on my next visit to Ashland!

I stayed in this beautiful little cottage for almost 4 months as a travel nurse. It is a great location!! There is a large hill next to the cottage that leads to the rest of downtown Klamath Falls. Several restaurants, shops, bars, and a billiards hall within walking distance. It’s across the street from Veterans Memorial Park, you can see Lake Ewauna and mountains from the cottage windows. It’s about a 6 min drive from the hospital. John is VERY responsive and helpful. He communicates everything and can expect a response within 2 hours or less. He is very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. The only complaint I had was the neighbors are rather noisy at all hours of the night and day.

From watching the sun rise with my coffee in the morning to watching the sun set with a glass of wine in the evening, Mary's cottage was a peaceful country getaway! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

what a beautiful location. river view was beautiful, river access is a little tough, but managed. Steve and Jayne are super friendly and although they live above, we really never heard them. It was a great stop for our mini Vaca and would love to revisit.

Gg's space is a slice of heaven! Private, quiet, clean and easy to find. I totally enjoyed my stay. I was lucky enough to meet Gg and her sweet doggies for a chat, she gave me great recommendations on all the things local. I will stay there again when passing through. Thank you Gg for being a wonderful host!

My stay at the Ruby Belle Cottage was nothing short of magical. The space was immaculate and expertly appointed. Everything I could have needed was thought of and provided. Most importantly, the bed is incredibly comfortable and the property is quiet (I slept like a rock!). For a PNW coffee nerd, the espresso machine in the morning was quite the treat. I wish I hadn't been on a tight schedule; otherwise, a leisurely morning with coffee on the patio overlooking the paddocks would have been lovely. I look forward to staying at the cottage again!

This is a great location if you want to be right near downtown Ashland! It is easy to walk to Lithia Park, restaurants, groceries, shops, etc. Very quaint, rustic and relaxing, right next to Ashland Creek and fun little art galleries. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved this cottage and our stay in Ashland. Cozy, comfortable, clean, well equipped and conveniently walkable to restaurants and shops. The owner, Brad, is a great guy who gave us interesting background on the Abbott Cottages and the artists and creative side of Ashland. Could not have been happier with our stay in the Raven cottage.

We had a fantastic stay at Oak Street Cottages in Ashland, OR! The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of Ashland and within walking distance of all the main attractions, including restaurants, shops, and theaters. The cottage was beautifully maintained, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere truly made it feel like a home away from home. We highly recommend Oak Street Cottages to anyone visiting Ashland and look forward to returning on our next trip!

My husband and I stayed here for a month to explore Ashland because we plan to move there and wanted to make sure it was a good fit! We loved Ashland, so much live music, nice people, nature to hike! This airbnb was perfect while we explored! We could walk down to the plaza and coffeeshops, restaurants all within walking distance. The space had everything we needed for an extended stay! I would definitely recommend!

These family-run cottages are a real gem. A close to walk to downtown, they are clean, quiet and have everything you need for your stay. And the hosts are super responsive. I was here for a month and every morning, without fail, a family of black-tailed deer would stop to graze in their beautiful courtyard. I highly recommend.
