Beautiful cabin on 1.5 acres

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The lake is very calm and secluded. We have a paddle boat, a lily pad and a couple kayaks to enjoy the lake. there is a dock if you choose to bring a boat. We do not charge a cleaning fee but please be considerate of keeping the cabin tidy when you leave. The A-frame in the picture is not included in the price listed it has 2 twin over full bunks and it has Air conditioning but no running water. refer to the space description for it.

Guests can create beautiful memories snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing with just a walk down the hill. To make your adventure even easier, we provide two pairs of snowshoes, and two sleds for you to use during your stay! Here, we hope you can disconnect and enjoy the beauty of life!

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.
