Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lake Michigan

This was the perfect place to stay with our family for a great weekend together.

Beautiful view of the bay! Super peaceful and very clean.

Sarah’s place was very clean and extremely well equipped in every aspect, kitchen, bathroom supplies, outdoor etc. So many amenities, we felt like we were still home . The basement was such a great addition for kids and adults to play ping pong, air hockey, arts and crafts. Kids can spend hours down there. Backyard is fenced and although it backs to I-196, we were not bothered. I cannot imagine how beautiful it is once the trees are green. If you have kids and want to get away from the city with minimal planning of all the things to bring, this is the place. There is a beach nearby, 3 min drive, cannot wait to come back during summer months. Sarah, thank you for your gracious hospitality.

If I could give this stay 6 stars I would!!! The most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere so close to everything you’d want to do at Silver Lake. Kathleen is absolutely SUPERhost status and even saved the day by providing some warm clothes when we came unprepared for the cooler weather we encountered. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a great time at Debra and Greg’s Traverse City house! It was very comfortable and kid friendly. I definitely recommend this place for families visiting the area. So easy to get out and walk around the neighborhood and go to shops!

Great place on a quiet lake! Beds were comfy, outdoor space was nice, basement theatre/projector was fun and the pontoon boat was an added bonus to do some fishing. Host was a great communicator and was gracious with her flexibility. Had a wonderful stay!

Had a great 2 night stay. Everything was clean and exactly as pictures and described. Very cute decor/theme. The layout was great for us, family with older teens. Lots of space and TVs. Great restaurants and some shopping within walking distance. Really good value. Walk to the beach and trails. We were in town for a nearby event and really enjoyed the area this place was in. Host was very responsive and answered questions beforehand. We had no issues with our stay at all and would absolutely recommend.

Location is in a great place! Home was super clean as well with a comfy bed! Only downfall is the 4 sets of stairs to make it up to the 3rd floor with our suitcases. Other than that absolutely loved! Thanks again!

We loved staying here! We came for Memorial Day weekend and had never been to Port Washington. It is a beautiful small town on the water with a great downtown. The place was super clean and cozy! We thought it was even better in person than it looked in the pictures. Elle was very responsive, left good recommendations for town, and even had eggs, yogurt and fruit for us to make breakfast in the morning. 10/10 highly recommended staying here!

Carol’s place was very comfortable for our family of 4! Amenities were all as listed and everything was clean and inviting. We hope to stay here again the next time we visit family in Blue Island!

We loved the coziness and privacy of the place, it was such a welcome hideaway after our busy days sight seeing in downtown Chicago. The blue line train stop became our bestie because it got us downtown and back relatively quickly (30-40 min) and direct. The neighborhood was nice, walkable and we got pretty gorgeous weather. The space was clean and welcoming with all the needed necessities. So comfortable and clean, and it smelled so nice when we arrived. The bathroom was clean and bright with plenty of clean linens. We saw Jordan out walking the dog a few times but they made a point to give us good space, and responded quickly when we needed the door lock battery changed after checking. Would absolutely recommend and hope we get to visit again!

Second someone from the family has stayed. Comfortable, and perfect for our needs...thank you again we will be back!!!

My stay was amazing! I loved the fact that dogs were welcomed as I needed that for this trip, I also loved the patio set up as an extra nice touch when the weather is amazing! I felt right at home and loved how Mark has clear instructions on the listing as well as in the unit! My boyfriend said this was the nicest and biggest one, I’ve booked yet! The free breakfast sandwich and coffee vouchers were the best perk I’ve received at an Airbnb so far and they were delicious! I was also happy to see a bar set which comes in handy to a person that loves to make drinks 🍹! Due to the fact I had a dog that sheds n drops water like crazy, I wanted to be sure I cleaned after him as I would my own home… I called mark for cleaning supplies and he came over quicker than I could hang up the phone with him! Very nice guy and hopefully I can stay here again on my next visit! Keep up the great hosting ❤️

Stayed here before and it’s just as he says. It’s away from the downtown traffic and noise but close enough to everything that it’s not out the way. It’s a spectacular place to stay and he is very friendly and very responsive if you have any questions or anything he always is willing to help and responded in a timely manner. Would recommend this place to anyone to stay. Will be back in the future due to the hospitality and location. He is an awesome host and you get exactly what’s in the description. 10 out of 10

Melanie's place was the ideal stay. She was very friendly and accommodating (letting us drop off some items several hours before checking in; and accommodating an early breakfast so that we could travel on the "Badger"). Everything was clean and comfortable, and the food was amazing! The afternoon snack was an entire dessert buffet, and breakfast was another bountiful buffet (more variety than at many restaurants!). There was also a 24/7 ice cream freezer and a beverage fridge! A great location - close to restaurants, parks , and the Badger. Would highly recommend this BnB!

Imagine the PERFECT home... okay, now multiply that by 1,000!!! Truly the most perfect stay with the most perfect host in the most perfect of places. Definitely looking forward to staying again in the future!

Pam and Kevin were awesome hosts. They made us feel very welcome as we were coming and going quite often. Breakfast was outstanding!!

Mary's place was a great location for our short trip to Chicago! It was a short Uber drive from the airport, and a short drive to the All-State Arena. We did arrive late at night due to flight delays and opted for an Uber versus the train. I am glad we did cause it seems like the train station is under construction for the side we needed and would have been a bit more of a walk departing from the other side, but definitely not a dealbreaker or anything. The house is a short walk from this breakfast place that we actually went to twice during our short stay, with other options nearby. Overall, the house felt cozy and clean, but we did struggle with getting in the bathroom first thing in the morning with the other guests in the house during our stay. Mary was very responsive and a great host to us during our stay. The bed was comfortable as well and the room had amble space for a large suitcase, a carry-on, and two large bags with space to spare for two people.

It was so nice meeting Arlene and her husband. We really enjoyed staying over and had a great time. The place was super pretty, comfy and felt like home. It was at a great location and the surroundings were really beautiful. We had an amazing breakfast! Arlene took care of us very well and made sure we were really comfortable. Thanks so much! Great place for our two-night stay in Milwaukee. Very nice room in a house, accessibility to living room and outside terrasse. Superb breakfast byMary Jo and Robert. They are very nice hosts. Close to downtown Milwaukee, but recluse enough for quietness. Also close to lake and many parks. We highly recommend !

Beautiful home, great location, and a lovely couple. It was a pleasure to talk to and spend time with Chuck and Bethany. They made us breakfast each morning and we learned about their long history in the area. We would be happy to return when we come back to the area.
