“This tiny home is great for a quick couple’s getaway! Explore Kalamazoo or nearby beach town SouthHaven which is approx 40-50 mins away depending on traffic. There’s numerous grocery stores nearby to choose from—including TraderJoe’s + Costco, which was great! FYI / semi-related, based on our experience Uber / Lyft isn’t really active in the area. We biked the Kal Haven trail to South Haven (34 mi) and we were too tired to bike back. I thought being a touristy town with wineries, It would be easy for ride share but had to call a local taxi service to drive us back to Kalamazoo. This might also be due to the pandemic? Anyways, this place is a GREAT value if you’re on a budget but wanna escape :) book this place Asap!”

“I can't say enough about how incredible our stay at Michael's was. First of all the space was so freakin' cool! Between the art and plants inside the studio, and the vintage collectible items he has on display, it was one of the most unique Airbnb's I've ever been to. Then there's the rooftop. Not only is it a botanist's dream up there, but it's super comfortable and a perfect area to relax and absorb the city vibe, any time of day. Mike was also an incredible host. He made sure the space was clean at all times and I had a great time conversing with him about the city and about his passion for the work he and his son have put into restoring the building to make sure his guests get the best experience possible. As a Chicago native myself I can tell you that if you're visiting the city for the first time, this is definitely where you want to stay. The location is perfect, anything you'd want is accessible via foot. And Mike is the perfect host to provide you with tips for touristy activities, nightlife, restaurants etc.”
Country setting. Apartment above our garage. Attached to our house. No Smoking. No Pets. No Parties. No shared space but with the shared wall, you will here sounds from our space including garage door, voices, kitchen noise, dogs may bark, etc. we try to keep noise levels down but we live here and you may hear us.
“This was our second visit and was everything we needed. It was a great option with the freezer/fridge, the oven/stove, microwave, Keurig in the kitchen area. Nice living space. We especially enjoy the convenient location for visiting with our family. If you visit in July, this location is very close to the Organic Blueberry Ranch, too.”
