Rose Cottage - 2 bdrm on 5 acres

SalilRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Rose cottage. It was great to wake up to see snow all around us and kangaroos hopping in all directions. The cottage itself is very well presented and has all the amenities can imagine. The pantry was very well stocked too. Michael was very helpful with all our queries during the stay. Great place for a quiet holiday and not far from the main town either. Would love to stay again!

Big Yard Farm - Snowy Mountains

JaneRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We loved our Christmas week holiday stay at Big Yard Farm. We are a 3 generation family of 4 adults, 2 young girls plus a well behaved dog. Everything and more was provided to make our stay comfortable, including beautiful quality furnishings and furniture. For home cooking the spacious kitchen is fully equipped with the great appliances. When not at the house enjoying all these comforts we were out having non-stop adventures in the Snowy Mountains region and in Jindabyne. It’s a perfect spot for a country stay to introduce children to life away from the city and for adults to relish the peace and quiet of a lovely garden and setting. Big Yard Farm is a special place and Sarah and Arnie are wonderful hosts. Thank you.

The Tree House apartment | pet friendly | hot tub

SimonRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Amy's place was lovely - very well equipped with all that we needed for our family (2 couples). Very comfortable large couch, great little kitchen with all we needed, comfy beds. A beautiful outlook - for us, it was actually snowing. We did notice the noise from Amy's family upstairs in the mornings - if we'd been up and out skiing early, which was our intent, we would have barely noticed it. Sadly, the early end of winter meant we did try for a sleep in, which was hard. But overall - a lovely, comfortably equipped apartment, great for a family of 4, with all that you need - and only a 10-15 minute walk down the hill to shops and restaurants. Amy also provided a full range of breakfast provisions, including bread, bacon, eggs, coffee etc. Thank you.

We had a relaxing stay at this countryside getaway. When we arrived the woodburning stove was already roaring away for us, and the personal touches made it all the more special. The doggies have a lot of love to give and I look forward to seeing them again in the future, as well as the Brumbies, chooks, cats, sheeps, geese... We were especially lucky with the weather but, if it was pishing down then we'd still have been just as happy as it's a lovely, cosy cabin! Thanks, both, for a wonderful stay! Cheers!

Kangaroo Willows - Iconic Aussie Holiday

KylieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a lovely family stay at Ann & Ian's place this past long weekend, enjoying the beauty of the property for one day & then heading off early to the ski fields for the second day. The house is as described. Not luxurious but very comfortable, plenty of heating options & adequately equipped for a family with older kids & well-trained dogs. The location is remote so there's no easy ducking to the shops & the commute to the ski fields is quite long, but we were very happy with that, feeling like we managed to combine a country, snowy mountains break & a ski trip in one. An unexpected highlight for us was getting to know Brian, the wonderful next-door neighbour who was a wealth of local knowledge, history & relationships, & a truly brilliant man. He and his wife Kerry (who we unfortunately didn't get to meet) have lived an admirable life of service, in particular to young people. I hope someone local is going to nominate them for an Order of Australia Medal! Thanks Ann & Ian.

Montague Cottage

My 92 year old mother and I stayed at Mark and Kelly's place. It was all on one level so easy to move around. Our family and friends who live in Cooma came to visit and we all enjoyed the house and it's facilities. Fun family time playing table tennis and other games. The wood burning fire in the lounge was amazing and the large sofa was very comfortable for all 6 of us, including my new 11 week old grandson. It allowed us to have some very special time together. Seeing the stunning colours of the autumn leaves was a bonus. Mark and Kelly were very responsive to any questions and I hope we will have the opportunity to visit again.

Stone Cottage-Alpacas &Highland Cows @ Cherry Tree

BarbRating, 5 stars1 day ago
As soon as we drove in the driveway we felt like we were on an adventure. The property is located out of town and down a 4k dirt driveway and it is so worth it. Jim directed us where we could park then Julie gave us the tour. The cottage is stunning!! Everything thought of & of high quality, thought I was going to melt into the beautiful bed. The fire was going for us and it was lovely to get the rundown of the property in front of the fire with a glass of bubbles. Julie has done a wonderful job furnishing the cottage and Jim's workmanship in the bathroom is amazing (the heated floor was sooo nice). Our furchild was also welcomed (but make sure they are well behaved as there are farm animals and they don't need to be hassled, luckily mine is scared of his own shaddow so that was not a problem for us). Although it was only a 1 night stay for us it was so very very lovely and memorable and we cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

Snowy Mountains Luxurious Cottage Getaway

NatalieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

Jess is a friendly and responsive host and the place is very lovely and spacious for large group of people. This private premises is super photogenic, with beautiful views and surroundings including a small lake. We were thrilled to see a number of kangaroos and wildlife along the driveway of the house. It feels like a free safari tour. On our last day, it was a bit snowy and foggy and the place becomes quite magical. We can’t imagine how beautiful it would be if the place is covered in snow more. Overall, very happy and enjoyable stay. We would definitely love to come back again.ā˜ŗļø
