Monthly Rentals in Lake Iroquois

My husband and I wanted a quiet, laid-back honeymoon after the craziness of our wedding day (good crazy, of course), and Rachel’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The cottage itself is quaint and cozy in a quiet, remote area, with a very comfortable king-sized bed. Water pressure and temp were perfect. The cottage is centrally located between Montpelier, Stowe, and Burlington, so there was so much to do and explore. The tea and coffee Rachel provides is perfect to start your day on the deck overlooking the beautiful Vermont landscape. At night, you can hear the frogs, birds, and other animals surrounding the grounds of the cottage. I can’t overstate how beautiful the views are! Rachel was very attentive to our needs, and she graciously came to welcome us when we arrived. She also checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and has everything we needed. We highly recommend!

Went up for a weekend getaway with my younger brother. We fished , golfed , hiked , went to local farms and markets . The area is so hidden and peaceful and perfect to just be at peace with nature . Lisa and Roger are absolutely wonderful to deal with and super friendly/helpful with anything you need . Waking up having a cup of coffee on the deck in the AM looking out to the mountains. Hot tub was amazing at night. The projector screen was great for movies and falling asleep to. Super clean space . Only complaint is that I didn’t book a longer stay . Was bummed out leaving for sure . Already looking for next availability to go up again next year . Wonderful stay .

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

We loved staying at Greg & Karen's place! It is a lovely, recently built carriage house that is very homey and clean. Comfortable bed, good shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. The location beautiful and somewhat remote, but also not too far from Burlington. The carriage house has a window that looks right into where there are horse stalls for their three horses! Unfortunately, rainy weather prevented us from walking the beautiful grounds and visiting the horses up close. Greg and Karen were very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend a stay at Valley View Farm.
