Great house close to the Ivalo centre with all amenities within short walk. Host was very helpfull, friendly, easygoing with quick replies to all questions. We stayed there for nearly a month. For such a long stay is house fully equipped and you will find there everything what is needed. Can only highly recommend it.

There is no one around right next to the Russian border. We were able to watch the Northern Lights very quietly. There is only one item, on the shelves and freezer, and ingredients and condiments from past guests.It's a good idea to check the expiration date when using it.

This place and its surroundings are simply so beautiful! As much coziness, peace and quiet as you can wish for. And still so much to do and see! We recommend a day trip to Tanamunningen / Høyholmen as well as exploration of the nature just around the cottage, snow shoes made that easy. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as can always happen but the house absolutely made up for that: great sauna, fireplace, grilling sausage outside by the fire in the snow and playing board games and simply watching the amazing landscape. Apartment was very spacious, with multiple balconies which we enjoyed. It has everything you need for few nights stay. We first booked for 2 people and later asked Pirrko if its suitable for 3, she had no issues with extra person and there were extra beddings prepared on the couch, which we really appreciated. Was super easy to communicate with amd everything was as described, so very satisfied with our stay and can only recommend Pirrko

Stayed for one night, host was super friendly and easy to communicate. Highly recommend. They also offer Huskey experiences which were more competitive price than the large operators you find on google!

We felt very comfortable at Teija's cottage and would have liked to stay there longer. We thought it was really nice that we had the opportunity to light a campfire and barbecue. The surroundings are very quiet and perfect for relaxing due to the forest and proximity to the lake. The cottage itself is very modern and is heated/cooled with a heat pump. In addition, Teija was always available, incredibly friendly and offered many helpful tips with her guest book :) We would come back any time and can highly recommend the accommodation 😊

The stay at the place was great. The pool is perfect for enjoying the northern lights for a few hours in the cold weather. The house is very modernly furnished and plenty of utensils are available for cooking. In town, we were able to rent a snowmobile without any problems. Joseph helped order the snowmobile, so the shopkeeper knew right away. By the way, a car driver's license is sufficient for renting and there are some routes in the area only for snowmobiles in the mountains. For shopping, we always drove to the K-Market across the Finnish border. This is only 10 minutes away. There is also a reindeer farm at the border where you could buy the meat directly from the producer. I highly recommend the stay!

Great place to stay if you’re looking for something a bit more out there - not a typical Airbnb experience but we really enjoyed it. Only real negative was a very creaky bed.

The stay at the apartment was magnificent: the chalet was clean and bright. Jacuzzi sauna and shower were perfect. We also saw the Northern lights from the living room. Juha was responsive and accurate. Highly recommended

Beautiful cabin on the Teno river. Lovely amenities. Hot tub and wood burning stove are really nice features. Great host!
