It is within easy reach of the world-famous Beatrix Potter Museum and all the pubs that can be found in Bowness. An extra hundred meters, and you will find yourself on the shore of Lake Windermere.

Berry Bottoms Cabin is a hidden gem nestling into a sloping hillside overlooking a wildlife pond This self-contained cabin, easily sleeps 2 but can accommodate up to 4 with a sofa bed. This is all about outside living with a semi-outdoor kitchen area and ample outdoor seating areas for BBQs or just relaxing and listening to the birds. It is approached on foot down a sloping track ( it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues). Peace and Tranquility, yet close to local amenities!

Willow is our biggest with its own compost loo and garden with outside seating .Willow is Insulated with a central wood burning stove , kitchen area, gas stove to cook on and all you need to create lovely meals and clean up after yourselves. With the property being located just ten minutes walking distance from the train station, Carlisle city centre and even closer to the University, it's an ideal base for anyone visiting the area. Our home has an open plan ground floor, and on the first floor there are two bedrooms and the bathroom. The whole house is available to our guests, There is some off street parking in the street beside the house and a car park 0.2 of a mile away which is £3.50 all day.

The cottage dates back to the `17th century and is full of charm and character with old oak beams in living room and bedroom and is situated in the heart of the famous 3 peaks Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside. The |Settle to Carlisle railway runs near the cottage and station is only 6 minutes walk away. The village has two public houses The Crown and Golden Lion both within waking distance.
