Location. Location. Location! We had a wonderful few days at Carol and Dan’s fabulous apartment. It is a beautiful space with huge windows looking out to see. Incredibly well equipped for both cooking and relaxing.

A lovely abode above cowichan bay, beautiful views and a serene backyard! Quite nicely appointed , would recommend!

An absolute breathtaking place to stay! Although the description and photos are accurate - they do not do the place justice! The area has so much to offer for exploration and the property has its own botanical garden which felt on par with many public/curated gardens we visited in Victoria. Joanne has been an absolute sweetheart to communicate with. I hope we have another opportunity to return soon. Thank you, Joanne!

We had a wonderful stay at Susie’s suite! It was private, spacious and had everything we needed and more. We especially appreciated Susie’s flexibility with our check out time! Can’t wait to be back!

This was probably the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had! Janet is a great host and it is clear that she really cares about helping to create memorable experiences for guests. She has gone above and beyond to provide anything you might need for cooking and comfort. We wished we could have spent more time enjoying the house any yard, but relaxing with bbq and hot tub after our long days of site seeing with was the perfect end to our two evenings!

Our hosts thought of everything. They went beyond expectations with regard to amenities. Very beautiful and comfortable.

An all around great place. Located within walking distance to the water and restaurants and all the amenities you could possibly need for your stay.

I stayed here before and decided to come again with other travelling companions. The location is beautiful. The home is a beautiful space with everything we needed, including a wonderful view. With the big windows, we could see robins building their nest under the home’s balcony while also being able to watch eagles flying by over the water. Sharon was responsive with texting even though she was away during our stay. There is a nearby small commercial space with two food trucks serving excellent food if you want a respite from cooking. We could either choose to eat there before driving out of the area for the day, or to stop off for dinner on our way back. I highly recommend Sharon’s place if you are looking for a rural oceanside getaway.

Madeleine and Ben really were super hosts, very friendly and welcoming to their home, the suite had everything you might need and was the perfect place to come back to and relax after a day of sightseeing. Would highly recommend it.

We had such an amazing stay at this lovely airbnb! The hosts were extremely fast at responding to any questions we had and so incredibly nice. They had a welcome basket for us when we arrived as well as a welcome basket for our dog (the sweetest little touch). The space was clean, private and beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a place to stay that feels like a home away from home.

Bergson's place was great, quiet, sparkling clean and had everything we needed. It is a new apartment and very nicely decorated. The communication with Bergson was great, he always responded quickly and it was important to him that we have a good time with him. From the accommodation, it is about 30 minutes to the center of Victoria. We definitely recommend Bergson and will be happy to come back the next time we are in the area.

Lisa and Gary were great hosts and their property is beautiful, especially the yard and views of the harbour. The suite is small but well-equipped and very bright. The highlights for us were enjoying the views from the hot tub and meeting Calvin the dog. Highly recommend staying here!

This spot is so beautiful. It has everything. The view is amazing, there’s a work out room, kayaks, hot tub, trampoline. We hope to return !

This was our second time at Ryan's and it never disappoints. Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. Already planning our next trip just so we can be sure to stay here. Beautiful property, view and very relaxing. Hot Tub- awesome. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable and place very clean! Sweet retreat is magic. It is extremely quiet and beautiful tucked into the mountainside. Do yourself a favour and book. It's amazing. The place is incredibly clean and set up well with everything needed for cooking. They set us up with extra for our baby and it was easy to baby proof the stairs for a kid newly on the move. So happy they are dog friendly, being able to have him on the island was great. the town is very dog friendly as well. can pretty much take them anywhere. Nice trails around the house too, and right out the door. Ganges is only ten minutes away which is perfect. There are also so many cool places on the way there. The brewery is walking distance and easy to grab a few beers on the way back to the house. I can't speak highly enough about this spot. Thank you Rebecca and Mark, we will see you again hopefully sooner than later. Also a must see is the chocolate shop and get some gelato because yum!!

Peaceful and quiet. Comfy beds .. Everything was perfect for my last night on the island.

I stayed here while in Nanaimo and it was wonderful start to finish. The second day into my trip, I ended up breaking my ankle on a trail and needed surgery and Sylvie was more than accommodating and helpful throughout the entire experience. She made our stay comfortable, and the place was clean, cozy and private. So many good things to say about the host and the place.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect — just minutes from the wedding venue we were attending, close to several beautiful wineries, and within easy walking distance to town. The property was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

This place is absolutely worth staying at. The view never gets old, Mason is wonderful and made us feel like special guests. Quiet, peaceful, functional, beautiful.

Karen’s place was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It’s just a short 9-minute walk to the local pub for dinner, and the backyard was full of birdsong—so relaxing. As an avid hiker, I appreciated that Karen recommended a nearby trail, and I was also able to find a few others in the area. During my stay, I did a beautiful hike and even went on a unique goat hiking excursion about an hour away. Karen’s hospitality was gracious and kind—she was even up early to see me off before checkout, which meant a lot. I truly appreciated the quiet, the care she puts into hosting, and the overall peaceful atmosphere. I will definitely come back again!

I had a great stay! The listing (including the view) was just as described and Laura and Thomas were very responsive and friendly. They also had lots of great recommendations that really enhanced my stay. I would book again in a heartbeat!

We had a great 3-night stay at Bonnie and Dave's place. We enjoyed the peaceful rural setting, the hot tub, and the outdoor fire pit. Bonnie and Dave even let us put up our tent in front of the Airbnb, so that my husband and son could have a bit of a "camping" experience--something our son had wanted to do all summer. The kitchen was well-equipped for making family meals, and we appreciated Bonnie's freshly baked muffins, eggs, and other food she left for us. The location of the Airbnb worked well for a fun day trip to Salt Spring Island via the Crofton ferry, being only a 15-20 minute drive from Crofton, and it was only about a 40-minute drive from the Kinsol Trestle section of the Cowichan Valley Trail, which we enjoyed biking along. Bonnie, Dave, and their dog, Sawyer, were away during our stay, so we didn't get to meet them on this visit, but they were always prompt, helpful, and friendly with all their communications. The home is beautiful. The finishes and decor are nicer than the typical AirBnb. The host is helpful and friendly. The kitchen is well stocked. There are plenty of towels and toiletries. The home is right on beautiful Lake Cowichan; the surroundings are so quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the patio and boat dock. There are walking paths with shade and enormous trees, only a 2 minute walk from the house. There is a nice grocery store 7 minutes by car. Don’t miss the evening paddle boat tour on the lake.
