Lacey’s Blueberry Cottage was the perfect weekend getaway from the city. My sister and I booked this cottage for our mom’s 60th birthday and we had an absolute blast! The cottage is tucked away and private, but still close enough to the main highway that we took into Bayfield (~30min drive) for a wonderful day of lakeside activities. The soft sandy beach was the perfect place to have a nighttime bonfire and listen to the waves crashing on the shore. The cottage itself was clean and tidy with lovely pieces of artwork and knick-knacks that made it feel warm and inviting. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and late-night board games. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, and more. Lacey was an exceptional host and very responsive to all our questions. She recommended Herbster Beach as an ideal rock-hunting spot that we visited on our way home. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

The house is exactly like the photos; everything was impeccable, and every detail is wonderful—the decor, the view of the lake, it’s fully equipped. Eric, Cindy, and Cassy were excellent hosts, and the communication was great. They have a coffee area on the second floor where they left us snacks, and downstairs in the kitchen, they have a popcorn machine and board games. They also provide blankets for the dogs. The location is perfect, a wonderful place to relax. The only thing I could suggest is adding a full-length mirror, especially if you’re traveling with vain women lol. On the last day, we had a small issue with the water flow due to a broken pump, but they gave us a refund for one night. It was very kind of them, although we enjoyed going down to the lake to shower there lol.

It was a nice stay in this place with friends and families. The place is quiet, peaceful with a beautiful lake view. We stayed for one night; cooking for dinner was convenient, all the beds were clean and comfy.

Great getaway, the drive up was quite scenic. Nice shared space to cook a meal with plenty of utensils

The home was a great getaway for our family as we were looking for a place to relax. With a great view of Lake Superior, the place did not disappoint. It was nestled in pine trees and an open high ceiling living area, comfy sofas and a log house theme. We enjoyed the kitchen, the deck and grill. Having a pickle ball court nearby and using the Superior Shore Lodge facilities for a small fee was nice. Steve, as our host, was quick to respond with our questions.

This place was absolutely gorgeous! We were so happy with our stay & would love to stay again. The view alone was worth the price. We would happily just sit on the patio & listen to the Lake Superior waves. Everything was clean & organized. We had plenty of room for everyone.

We stayed here with our four kiddos for a brief spring break getaway. While the snow wasn’t there this year we had plenty of spaces and places to spread out and explore. We would definitely consider coming back again!

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was so spacious and we loved having our own bathrooms and bedroom facilities. The view and access to the hot tub were definitely perks we loved. It was so clean, host was so responsive. We would absolutely book here again.

This is a great little condo! There's a great view of the lake, and it's within walking distance to everything this sweet, tiny town has to offer! The space is cozy and has everything you might need for a stay. I especially appreciated that there are coat hooks and storage for clothes and luggage.

Had a great fall tour weekend visiting Ely. We’ve always enjoyed Ely and this weekend was no different. The cabin was spotless, the beds were very comfy & the kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the Moose Cabin was beautiful, when we come back to Ely, we’ll stay here. Thanks so much!

The place was exactly as pictured and the location was perfect. It was a walkable distance from everything in Bayfield. Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Erin was communicative and very clear regarding check in instructions!
