Wooden cottage at Lake Bunyonyi

I was a guest for the second time with Gad and his family. It's just always something very special. The wonderful nature and tranquility on the island are simply indescribable. It is an authentic stay with an African family. Cooking together, a boat tour, a visit to the church and a trip with a guide are made possible by Gad. Gad also supports the entire region with a social project. He promotes families with a kindergarten where the children can learn and play. And the kids get a free meal a day. I will definitely come back.

We had a great stay with our group of friends at Lake Bunyonyi. It was my second time staying at Entusi and we had great time. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Entusi to anyone looking to stay at Lake Bunyonyi!

Antique Cottages

Quite a gem! The place and location is perfect if you in search of some relaxion and peaceful gateaway. The rooms and location were lovely, and right on the lake. The ferry was always available to take me to the shops or any other places I wanted to go. Jeffrey and his team, Fiona and Burden the ferry driver and tour guide, were fantastic, very hospitable and made me feel safe.  I unfortunately arrived at the lodge late around 2am after Christmas day due to transportation delays, but they stayed up and waited for me, responded when I reached out. And on arrival I was still welcomed with a warm smile and hospitality by the ferry driver, then the host when we arrived at the lodge. While on my way, the host knowing I was on a long trip,  checked with me if they could prepare food for me, which was very thought. The host and team were always present and very helpful throughout, always responded and communited.  I would most certainly be glad to stay at Antiques again!
A hand is seen holding a bottle of Nile Special beer in front of a campfire. Logs are arranged in a circle around the fire, with flames and smoke rising into the surrounding greenery. The forest creates a natural backdrop, adding to the outdoor ambiance.

Economy Double Room

Where do I even start? This place is pure magic. Tucked right on the edge of Bwindi’s Impenetrable Forest, it felt like we could literally touch the forest from our cabin terrace — and when the rain rolled in? Pure, soul-soothing enchantment. Nature’s lullaby at its finest. The staff? Absolute gems! Warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated — from serving up mouthwatering meals to even handling our laundry with care. And when it came time for our gorilla trekking adventure, they didn’t just point us in the right direction — they made sure we got to the check-in spot, snacks in hand like the pros they are. The lodge also offers super comfy transfers — complete with scenic stops at lakes and rolling hills, turning the journey into part of the experience. Honestly, it wasn’t just a stay — it was the kind of trip you carry in your heart long after you’ve left. Already dreaming of the day we'll be back!

The place is really nice and has many smart ecologic decoration made with recycled materials and a lot of creativity. For now the place is on renovation but we still managed to sleep in a very comfortable and clean private room. The host is super nice and very open to international community members. We had a very good time!

We are very grateful for the hospitality of Bernard, Regina, Alex, Allan and the family. We felt very welcome. We enjoyed the delicious food and it was nice to chat with everyone in the living room. Bernard took us to show us the tea fields and Alex helped us plan the Sabyinyo hike. Highly recommend staying here!
