Guesthouse vacation rentals in Lake Austin

Emily’s little guesthouse was a perfect find. We stayed 5days and had everything we needed, it was well stocked, even a blender and Texas Pecan coffee. The guesthouse was quiet, peaceful and very comfortable. Loved the location. Emily was friendly and gave clear instructions and responds quickly to messages. I hope to stay there again when we are visiting family.

Really great place. Very quiet and private on a really quiet road yet close to downtown and East Austin. Really enjoyed the location. Mike was a great host. Very responsive. I would highly recommend and will probably be back!

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Jessa and Blake’s guesthouse. Clean, cozy, cute space, and welcoming. Has everything you’ll need. Even though the address is on a busy road the guesthouse is very quiet. Easy parking on the side streets. Sheets and towels are good quality. The bed is VERY comfortable. Plenty of hangars for clothes. Air conditioning worked great. Water pressure was good. If you come back at night walkways are illuminated and a motion sensor light comes on. The neighborhood is one of Austin’s originals so if you like houses with character this is the spot. Grocery stores and places to eat within a ten minute drive. Would absolutely come back and stay at the guest house!

I stayed for 2 months and the apartment was just perfect for what I needed. It is not an apartment to go work in, it is a home to come back to rest and warm your heart after walking, biking, playing volleyball and working in the cafes around downtown. You really feel like in a lux tree house. Amy and Nick were always willing to help and answer any questions. The place is silent, a healthy family environment. For an adventurous person, it is perfect🙏🏼🙏🏼.It is spacious and is a little bigger than what I expected from looking at the pictures. I will definitely be back. Also: kitchen perfectly equipped, cozy living room, comfy bed and pillows, and the lighting is so warm too. 🫀🫀.

Aaron's place is a hidden gem! perfectly nestled just outside downtown Austin. Just walking distance from a park, several restaurants and market. Plenty of parking and quiet neighborhood. Aaron and his family are lovely and more than accommodating. I appreciate their hospitality so much. I will definitely stay at Aaron's place whenever I find myself anywhere near Austin. Thank you so much!

This was a great space for a three night visit. Hosts were very responsive, especially when we misplaced the key (our mistake). Highly recommend!!

Stayed at Jon’s cozy casita with my mom and it was the perfect size for 2 people. Felt very private and we got to say hi everyday to his super kind and well behaved doggos. The AC also worked great as it was starting to get hot in Austin! Jon was super responsive and made sure we felt at home. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for a weekend getaway. Feels spacious and has a big shower! The host was very helpful and quick to respond. The space was well designed, aesthetically and practically.

I stayed at Esmeralda’s tiny home for 3 nights. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Esmeralda had thought of everything. The space is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail—cozy, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made me feel both pampered and cared for. She provided so many extras I didn’t expect: plush towels, quality toiletries, snacks, a well-stocked kitchen, and fridge w/creamer and waters, etc. . It felt like staying at a boutique retreat made just for me. Mornings were magical—waking up to the soft sounds of nearby sheep & roosters and sipping coffee with a peaceful view. At night, the quiet was absolute bliss. Esmeralda is also incredibly kind, generous, and communicative. She checked in just enough to make sure I had everything I needed but always gave me space to relax and enjoy. This tiny home radiates love and care. I had an ideal time here and left feeling recharged. I’ll be back!

We had a great experience with Rachel! She communicated very well and instructions were clear. The bed was super comfortable with cotton/natural fiber bedding (really makes a difference!). We also appreciated the Brita pitcher in the fridge. AC worked well! Very quiet, peaceful and felt very safe. In walking distance to restaurants. Location was just 15 minutes from the airport. Stefanie is indeed a super host, and her house is one of the top Airbnb experiences we've ever had. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and after a couple of long driving days, this place was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Georgetown is a really nice community, and the house put us in easy reach of Austin. We recommend and will definitely return.

Had an amazing stay! Definitely recommend it!! The place itself is within a private area so there’s not much noise at all. Felt very safe and welcomed. Had everything we needed and many extras. 5 out of 5 for sure!

This is a 6 acre farm located in an equestrian community, there are 3 horses, 2 ponies, goats, sheep, ducks, chicken, parrots and plenty of other birds. The hosts will take you around the animals and explain how the whole farm came about as a second chance for the animals. There is a pool on the property for you to enjoy and we also took a ride on the Polaris. My son enjoyed spending time with Wyatt (9yrs old) who took him fishing on a nearby dock and took him around the pool, trampoline and played with water guns. Both Bastrop and Austin are 25mn away so the location is flexible to enjoy both towns while being on a farm.

My stay was wonderful. The Airbnb is in close proximity to a lot of great breweries and distilleries in Dripping Springs with just a 25 min drive into downtown Austin. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I didn’t realize how close the guest house was to the host’s home but Paige was very mindful and we had plenty of privacy. This property is dog friendly but the fenced in area is quite small, especially if you have a larger dog. There is plenty of space in the surrounding area and on the road to walk your dog but something to consider. Overall, I had a lovely stay and would book this home again.
