This digital nomad-friendly hotel is located in a quiet part of San Pedro with direct access to a sandy beach and hikes on the volcano. The place is run by a Scandinavian family who likes to share their love for food with their guests. It is simply and stylishly decorated and has organic bedding. The hotel/rooms have high-speed wifi. The town center is a 20 min. walk or a short tuk tuk ride away. Children are welcome to share bed with parents. An extra bed can be added for a fee of 100 Q/stay.

Our 6 rooms were built on an old coffee farm in the center of Panajachel. We are surrounded by peace, native trees, gardens, endemic birds, and pets. Our rooms' amenities are: a private bathroom with hot water, cable TV, Wi-Fi, parking, and a comfortable porch. The social areas have a communal kitchen and a pergola. Our central location puts you minutes away from supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bars, and the most popular places.

Authentic Lakeside Hotel Room #12

Come enjoy the beautiful Atitlan Lake in San Juan La Laguna. Casa Mama Lia is of the best location of the lake, while still having an authentic Guatemalan feel. Perfectly located, the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the dock and the village, center in a very quiet area of San Juan. The hotel is a dream come true for our family. We have been building it for 10 years and we opened a few weeks ago!

Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this lovely place to stay. We are located a few steps from the boat where you can be taken to see each of the magical villages that surround Lake Atitlán, and return to rest in your room, or enjoy an aperitif on the terrace.
