Another great stay, David; although too short! We had some business to take care of, but we didn't plan enough time to finish our agenda. Our third party member ended up changing his plans and added three other family members, so it was only two of us at the cabin as he made other lodging arrangements. Stayed in Bunkhouse cabin at wild plumas, cabin was very clean and had everything needed for a perfect holiday. Things were very organized and beautifully decorated inside the cabin. Wifi, outdoor fireplace & barbeque grill everything worked perfect. Beautiful place to enjoy the nature, there is a creek at walkable distance to hangout and kids to play. Near by grocery stores and gas station. Close distance to drive to Lassen National park.

I grew up in Quincy so I know how beautiful and peaceful it is in Plumas County. Even so, this location has some kind of magic. Every window has a great view, l loved cooking on the gourmet stove, the house is steps away from Spanish Creek. There is a spectacular train track in the sky which is an engineering masterpiece. If you enjoy reading on a window seat, it’s downstairs in a sun filled room waiting for you. My husband and I will be back. The driveway entrance off the highway is super sketchy, but the second time we drove it was easier, that was the single issue we had with the property.

"Rejuvenate at Riversong Retreat"

My 4 friends and I stayed at Ernie's retreat for our Memorial Day weekend trip to Lassen and Lake Almanor. The photos don't do it justice--this place is gorgeous, and huge! We had plenty of space to relax, cook, and play games. There are clear instructions with how to use the propane fire pit outside, which we used to make s'mores. There is a roaring river right outside that makes you feel like you're far away in the wilderness. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked and the TVs all worked as well. Lake Almanor is a short walk or drive away, and we rented kayaks to explore the lake. Most importantly, Ernie is a stand-out host who is kind, proactive, and communicative. Thanks, Ernie!

Quiet Mountain Town Get-Away

Loved our stay at the cabin. It's a surprisingly roomy and well-appointed place. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals and everything was comfortable and cozy. It's quite close to the main Lassen entrance which made exploration easy and the little neighborhood is charming and quiet. Ron was super responsive and made everything easy.
