Just a short walk to the sandy beach, this 2 bed/1 bath half duplex features its own private, tropical zen-inspired patio. Get away from the every day and escape to beach luxury right here! The beach cottage has been designed to provide you with similar luxuries to a resort-style hotel. The bathroom comes stocked with a pair of robes and slippers, hotel-sized toiletries to get you by your first day, a hair dryer, and plenty of toilet paper. Bath and beach towels are provided for your stay. Each bedroom comes with a plush pillow-top mattress, crisp white linens, and plenty of comfortable pillows and blankets. Need to do laundry? We got you covered with a full size washer/dryer along with laundry detergent and dryer sheets fully stocked for your use. Gourmet cooking made possible in our fully stocked gourmet kitchen! The beach cottage is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. If you are looking for a party atmosphere this would not be the house for you. However if you are looking for a quiet retreat to enjoy with family or friends this would be the perfect vacation getaway. The entire property is non-smoking. We ask guests who smoke to please do so away from the house. The beach cottage is part of a duplex. Both sides are rented on Airbnb. We live just a few blocks away and make ourselves available to help answer any questions. A short walk from Capistrano Beach, the home is in a quiet, peaceful residential community where children play outside together. It’s just off the 5 Freeway and Pacific Coast Highway, and Metrolink trains, two miles away, go to LA or San Diego. The Metrolink train station is only two miles from the house. You can grab a train that will take you all the way to Los Angeles or the opposite way to San Diego. We are also right off the 5 freeway and the Pacific Coast Highway, so the house is very accessible if you are driving by car. The house is part of a duplex. This half of the duplex is the entire back of the building with its own private backyard. There is one shared wall with the other side of the duplex. We ask guests in advance to please keep noise down and be cordial to the residents on the other side. We want to ensure everyone enjoys their peaceful comfort of home. This is a non-smoking property. In addition, the house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with a noise ordinance from surrounding neighbors after 9pm. If you are looking for a party house, unfortunately this would not be the right fit.

Quaint Surfer Lifestyle 1930s Cottage

Enjoy the laid-back charm of this home brimming with personality. The residence features a lush tropical garden, vintage architectural elements including beamed ceilings, wood finishes throughout, and an outdoor lounge space. Walking distance to Table Rock beach, West Street beach and Thousand Steps beach. The 3rd bedroom and bath: This room is on the lower level of the cottage and has its own entrance through the two big white doors located in the front of the house. This space is nicely finished with arguably the best bathroom in the house. In this sleeping space there are two rooms. The front space has a twin with a pull out trundle and the back has a full bed (just smaller than a queen) along with a full bath. The cottage was built in 1930, beach cottage comes some unusual construction I call Laguna Funky. Not uncommon in the area the lower level has has low ceilings. I’m 6ft tall and have sleep down there several times very comfortably. However I have had guests that are 6’2 or taller that have said it is too low for them. Note this is just a sleeping space all the socializing will occur on the mail level and outdoor living space of the cottage. Also Note Having raised my two children from 0 to 10 years old it is too much separation for the average parent to have the young kids sleep down there alone. Cell is best 949-290-3831 The property is walking distance from three of Laguna's most picturesque beaches: West Street Beach, Table Rock, and Thousand Steps Beach. It is also a short trolley ride or 5 minute drive to beautiful Downtown Laguna Beach. In terms of restaurant and other things to do in the area I have a book at the cottage that is full of my favorite restaurant, beaches, hikes etc… The cottage is a Legal Vacation rental City of Laguna Beach Permit # 12-1551 Parking. There is no parking directly in front of the cottage. You can always pull in front to load and unload. However after active loading or unloading you will need to move to the nearby free street parking. There are no meters or time limits on the street parking. It is quite easy and has not been a problem for any of our guests to date; understandably this is something I like to go over with everyone prior to booking.
