Nice location !!! easy accesss!

A wonderful and convenient spot, this place is close to everything you need! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and convenient store! Very short drive to nearby places such as Balboa Island! The place itself was exactly as pictured, very clean and quant. Perfect for our family of 4! The only thing I would mention is this is the bottom unit, half our stay we were there with no one above us, the other half did have renters above and the walls are quite thin! Luckily our daughters have a sound machine and were able to sleep through the walking around upstairs! Nothing the upstairs neighbors could have done but just something to keep in mind being the bottom unit :) still a 5-star experience in our opinion with all the other great things this house offers.

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

We loved our stay in at the Newport Beach home! The view of the ocean from the patio was spectacular! We spent most of our time sitting on the patio. Beds were comfortable. We had all amenities we needed. The space was cozy, clean and well decorated. We plan to come back in a regular basis!

Beautiful location. Perfectly situated to be able to walk to everything you’d need for a local stay and great road position if you want to venture further out of town. The house is beautifully presented and comfortable. The beds are great with lovely fresh linen. Annette was so friendly and thoughtful. Check in was perfect and everything was easy to locate and access. The Hot tub is a great addition to wind down at the end of the day. Loved having Laguna beach so close perfect for a morning walk with a coffee that was on the back door step. Thank you again we will definitely be back!

we stay at AIR BNBs a lot, all across the country and this was by far the cleanest home we have stayed at. the view from every room is just amazing. only downside to this amazing house is how close it is to the road, seems like everyone in carlsbad loves their loud exhaust. the road noise is quite a bit all day long. obviously not the fault of the owners, just pointing it out. the beach across the street is all rock, but so worth visiting. we went to the tide pools every day for 7 days. the state beach is right around the corner. looking forward to coming back

The place was so cute!! Perfect amount of space, old charm and close to the beach!! Balboa Blvd is a VERY noisy street, but we really enjoyed our stay!!

Teresa was so communicative and easy to reach. This was a vacation with my 2 grandchildren, we all enjoyed the layout of the condo, the pickle ball courts, the proximity to many nearby beaches. As a recently relocated native of north coast San Diego, it was fun to revisit favorite restaurants, the Zoo and Sea World. I would most definitely recommend this stay and would look forward to renting it again for future visits!!!

Super spacious home, so very clean! Very quiet neighborhood and just a block from the beach to watch all the surfers! 🏄 Loved the backyard for hosting a small bbq! The casita was private and lovely!

Wonderful place and location close to both the beach and restaurants. Management company was super responsive to all messages. Garage parking spot was pretty snug for a Chevy Malibu but street parking is fairly available, just watch the street sweeping signs

Had a wonderful time at Fiona ‘s place. We felt right at home and she left some great spots to check out for food - Beaches are a quick stroll away and was a great spot. Plenty of places to explore and very walkable to town.

We had a fantastic stay at the Balboa Beach House! The location truly can’t be beat — right in the heart of the Balboa Fun Zone and just steps from the beach, pier, bay, grass parks, and tons of great places to eat. It was the perfect spot for our family. One of our favorite parts was renting cruiser bikes from Ray’s (literally right downstairs!) and riding along the boardwalk — such a fun way to explore the area. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was awesome — super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Thanks to Josh for opening the home to my family for the holidays. We felt right at home on cozy Balboa Island. This rental is all about location! Easy access on and off the island, and very close proximity to Marine Ave (where are the restaurants and shops are located on the island). The unit was clean and modern. Josh was responsive and open to feedback. Only downside to the unit is it is a back unit so you do not get to look out to the street.

We needed assistance with the fire alarm batteries beeping and John came over right away!

Our little family love our vacay here! So relaxing and it didn’t feel like we were in the city at all. Had coffee on the patio every morning and the breeze was so peaceful. Definitely would stay here again.

Very Happy with our stay in Encinitas. Fun, older, vintage beach unit. Just what we were looking for. Nothing fancy, everything was just right. Would love to come again. Right by Swami's gardens and close to downtown. Walked to restaurants, beach and temple gardens. Very happy with our stay. Old school beach house.

We had a great time and loved the place! Beautiful view of the ocean and it’s so close to all the beach and amenities that Carlsbad has to offer. We were able to park our cars and walk to town to go to the restaurants and shops. It was also nice to have 2 parking spots and not stress about that since sometimes parking can be tough in California-especially close to the beach. It was also so nice to have the hot tub to soak in after a day at the beach. Host was quick to respond on any messages we sent and we really appreciated that. We overall loved our stay here and I highly recommend this Airbnb 😄
