Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lagos

This accommodation was perfect for our group, family of 4, plus Granny and Granda. It’s spacious and had everything we needed. Loads of space, clean, as close to home from home as I could hope for. I can’t imagine going to Luz again and not staying here, this was my 1st time visiting the area

This villa with separate pool house is such a great place to stay. The inside is light, airy and tastefully furnished. The kitchen area is so cool. The outside space is gorgeous with plenty of room and the pool was fun for all of us. The villa is a little way out of Luz and other surrounding towns so a car is pretty much essential but Luz is walkable in 30-40 minutes. Lagos is also only a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

We had a truly wonderful stay at José’s place - an absolute hidden gem! The home is beautiful, peaceful, and has everything you could possibly need, making it the perfect retreat for our family! José went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering wonderful local recommendations and adding so many thoughtful touches throughout the home. We were especially grateful for the toys and child-friendly features, which made things so much easier and more enjoyable for our little one. We had the best time so thank you again :) José and his family were also incredibly kind and helpful whenever we had any questions, and we felt genuinely welcomed from start to finish. This was such a memorable and happy stay, and we truly hope to return to this special place someday. Thank you so much and até breve! :)

We had a great time at Martina's chic and cozy house! It has everything you want and has a beautiful private garden. Martina is a very thoughtful host and always available for questions. The location is great, just a few minutes drive to the nearest beach in a quiet village. Lagos and the fantastic beaches on the Atlantic coast are also easily accessible by car. Highly recommended!

First time to the Luz area, which was made even better with our stay at this wonderful home. The house was great with large living areas, an excellent outdoor space with a pool and a location that was private but also ideally situated for easy access to the beach and restaurants.

Marcella’s place is welcoming, cozy, comfortable, a great location and well thought out…very accommodating. Wonderful restaurants recommended by Marcella, a lovely walk to Figueira Beach. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful. I would love to return one day.

Lagos was gorgeous and the apartment location was perfect for exploring. The heat/ac worked well and the apartment was exactly as described/pictured. Paulo was great about letting me know when the apartment was ready and gave very clear instructions for getting inside. I did have a hard time getting the door opened at first, human error on my part, and messaged Paulo who offered to be there in 10 minutes. Luckily I was able to figure it out but it was great knowing he was so close. I wish my stay had been longer! I will definitely be back!

Anja and Paul's home was fantastic! Everything was immaculate! Paul waited for us and showed pointed to where the stores were, everything was within walking distance and a very comfortable walk. Perfect spot just outside the town but still an easy 15 minute walk. Beautiful neighborhood, quiet, close to all the hood beaches. Sylvia was great, very responsive and helpful. The place was a nice roomy 2 bedroom, very clean and comfortable.

What a fantastic apartment! Truly a home from home! Eva and Michael are just lovely and are fabulous hosts. The outdoor barbecue was just brilliant- go to the fish market and grill some blue fin tuna - just lovely! Thank you !

Our stay at Inês & Pedro's was very pleasant. We felt right at home in the apartment. The roof terrace offers an amazing view of the city and the sea. The city center with its numerous shops and restaurants can be reached in a few minutes. Since we were traveling with a small child, this was very convenient. In addition, Pedro responded quickly to our requests. Thank you!

I can only confirm what many people wrote already: Lisa’s place has the original Airbnb spirit. It’s very personal, feels like a home away from home and has everything one would need for a vacation with the family. We especially loved the balcony overlooking all the hikers and the beach equipment/toys. Burgau is a true gem, great restaurants, not too crowded (early May) and man things to do around. We can recommend walking some parts of the fishermen’s trail to get stunning views of the Portuguese coast. Thank you Lisa for all your help, flexibility and friendliness throughout our stay. We hope to come back.

Absolutely unbelievable home, with an incredible view! As close as you can get to the beach and restaurants in Luz! Would definitely stay here again.

The most amazing place we’ve ever stayed. We travel as a family of 7 and use Airbnb regularly all over the world. This is the best presented, best location, so close to fun experiences, history, culture, beaches. We all loved it and wish we’d stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well thought out and stunningly decorated, with well curated art. It felt like home much more than the average Airbnb experience. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay! property was in great condition, and was a great base for our group of 8. All the bedrooms were an even size and the open plan space downstairs was fantastic. lovely garden and pool. BBQ also extremely clean which is not always the case and all appliances were easy to use. check in and check out were easy and the host was always contactable.

This house was the perfect place for a family get away. We had 6 adults and a toddler and everyone had their own space and the kitchen was perfect for breakfast and dinners. The outside area is prestige with multiple places to sit, eat and hang out. The walking trails near by are great for morning strolls and exploring the coastline. Two of the prettiest spots in town are just down the street from the house and old town is very much walkable. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at the villa, the photo's show it exactly as it is. We were 2 families of 8 including 5 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for us all not to be on top of each other. Although only 30 minute walk into Lagos I would suggest you need a car especially when it is hot. The host was fantastic and answered all my questions in a timely manner. We were very sad to leave!

We loved our stay at Casa de Migges - one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. It was very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home and loved that we were able to cook, do laundry, and enjoy the pool. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were modern and spacious, and the neighbourhood was cozy and quiet. We also loved that each room had air conditioning that worked beautifully and was not noisy. A perfect stay and we would definitely stay here again. Caroline was wonderfully responsive and friendly. We stayed at this property for three nights with my children and parents, and it was perfection. Everything was brand new and top quality. You could tell there was a lot of attention to detail when designing / refurbishing the space. Stefanie was super-responsive and it was a breeze getting in and checking-out. We hope to stay there again when it warms up so we can use the breathtaking pool area. 10/10.

We had a top wine at Tiny Whale Lodge! We celebrated our 40th birthday here with 14 friends and had a wonderful time! The house offers several nice corners (2 fire pits, poolside relaxation area, jacuzzi, sauna,...) so that everyone can find their place. Chef Pablo came to cook for us 1 night, was very tasty! Please note: we had more than half left, so don't plan on your last night! We did a beautiful walk at the cliffs in Lagos, with a long stop and dinner at beach bar Antonio. The last evening we ate BEAUTIFULLY at restaurant Dos Artistas, highly recommended!!! Berthe and Neil were always easily accessible and went out of their way to make us comfortable! (Even during the huge power failure)

Just got back from a 5 day stay and honestly what a beautiful villa! Everything you need, felt like home to home. The whole place is beautiful, outdoor pool with sun beds, a BBQ and outdoor dining area too plus everything you need inside. Set in a beautiful location that’s quiet but also easy to access the marina nearby and other nice places too. Barbara has been so quick on messages and so helpful with everything. I couldn’t recommend enough! We will definitely be back again. Thank you ☺️⭐️
