Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lafourche Parish

House is in a great location, right on the water with an onsite boat ramp. Accommodated our large group very comfortably and had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be back.

I don’t even know where to begin — I’ve been coming to New Orleans for over 20 years, and Margeau’s Airbnb is hands-down the best place I’ve ever stayed. We were two couples and stayed extremely comfortably. The house is beautifully decorated, spotless, and spacious, and it’s in what I consider the perfect location — walkable to everything, with a Whole Foods nearby for anything we needed. We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee and ending our evenings with wine out on the charming front porch. As for the host, Margeau was simply wonderful. She was incredibly responsive to all my (many!) questions before our trip, checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, and was always available with a great recommendation. Everything you could want in a host, truly. I’m already looking at dates to book again — this is where I’ll stay every time I come to NOLA from now on. Thank you, Margeau and Vince, for making our stay so memorable!

We truly enjoyed our stay! David, Talyta, and Kaio were great hosts. The house is beautiful and was the perfect fit for 2 families. We loved the thoughtfully curated art and decor throughout the home. The amenities were wonderful (TVs in every bedroom, white noise machines!) All of the beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. We also loved the outdoor patio. The location was perfect and close to Rouse's and we enjoyed the cafe (Cherry) within walking distance. We would happily book again.

Nice and quiet, tucked back off the road. Clean rooms with plenty of space. Beautiful sunsets off the back porch and plenty of wildlife!

The home is beautiful and in a quiet, friendly town. If you’re looking for a real bayou experience, this is it. The house is very cozy with a laundry room, plenty of porch space, comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen if you plan to have meals at the large dining table. If you’d rather go out, restaurants and shopping are within a 15 minute drive. If you’re planning to fish, there is no shortage of water on any road you drive down. Our host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. I’d go back in a heartbeat and would recommend it.

Darleen was very friendly and hospitable. We were unpleased with a separate airbnb situation across town and needed a new spot quickly. Darleen had us in there in no time and we were very pleased with the experience. Would definitely recommend!

Very clean & close to fishing

Nice place with nice folks. Plenty of room to park a boat.

Charles was very friendly and always responded quickly. We went down south for a quick fishing trip and it was just what we need for a two night stay. We were very comfortable. We would stay again.

Mr Charles and Emma were so nice and very accommodating. very peaceful and quiet. If you love the bayou this is where you need to stay!!

Jimmy’s place was a perfect ending for a few relaxing days in Uptown after a long Gulf Coast Road trip. A very friendly host and a perfect place for a family to stay: quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, a nice cafe and restaurants nearby, walking distance to Audubon Park and the St Charles streetcar. The fettuccine recipe was a great touch as well. We already miss this little gem in Uptown and would highly recommend it to anyone! Thanks Jimmy for making us feel right at home. Geaux Tigers!

We have been coming here for years and will continue for more to come. Peaceful, secluded and the best place to come for respite but only a short drive to New Orleans(if you want the hustle and bustle)..

My husand I enjoyed our stay. it was as described. I appreciated the privacy and it was close to where we wanted to be. Fatimah was responsive to questions and helped solve minor issues we had with some of the remote controls. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great stay away from crowed after going to Mardi Grass. The atmosphere was very pleasing. It's like 31 minutes from Bourbon street

Terese and Tim are amazing hosts and made us feel welcomed right away. They are so generous and hospitable. My kids loved the pool and we got some fishing time in. The place was very clean and exactly as described. We will definitely be returning!

Would stay again

This was our first time renting this camp and it will not be our last. we rented to stay close to friends and it was only a half a block away which was wonderful. This was perfect for us. Just enough room, close to EVERYTHING, and very clean. Definitely worth the rent.

Love it! Was a very nice place to stay while visiting area. Salt pool was very nice, and clean as well .
