This is a perfect spot for an outdoors lover! It is 350 steps from the front door to the Northwestern Avenue entrance to Forbidden Drive in the Wissahickon. If you want to stay close to the park, you can't do better than this. And if you don't feel like walking, simply enjoy the expansive view of the woods and the tiered garden from the back patio or even from the sofa inside. Meghan is a welcoming, friendly, and responsive host. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchenette is good for basic cooking like scrambling some eggs, frying some potatoes, or heating up some pasta. A great feature of this place is that the entire place (except the loft) is on one level, making it an easy spot to navigate for my elderly mom who uses a cane. The shower has grab bars and the main bedroom and bathroom are easy to navigate between, even at night. The mobility-friendliness of this spot, its gorgeous views of nature, and access to the park make it outstanding.

Edward and Courtney were great and most responsive hosts. The unit is perfect for a traveling couple. Close to charming Chestnut Hill and downtown Philadelphia with free parking. The house has brand new furniture and amenities and has all the staples a home away from home should have. You cannot go wrong staying there!
