2C Vintage View Honey Grove Ladonia Bois D’Arc

ColettaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Host was proactive regarding the City Water issue. He had filtered water in the fridge. He was working on a fix while we were there. It is important to note the weather had been raining for days. It was unfortunate. Aside from that, the place was absolutely beautiful. The rooms and the hall ways were tastefully decorated. A lovely rooftop patio was very nice. Kudos to the people/owners on all accounts.

Grandma's Cottage: Close to Bois d’Arc Lake

We were visiting my grandfather who lives in Bonham. This house had everything we needed for our weekend trip. The master bed was very comfortable and had good pillows! The backyard is massive and a nice spot for early morning or evening time! Kitchen even had supplies for me to bake a cake! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying in this adorable little house with a history! It's perfect for two people and within walking distance to the local grocery store, several local eateries (great Mexican restaurant!) and a couple nice bar/grills. The bed & linens were very comfortable and everything worked just as it should. As always, nice to have a washer and dryer so we don't move on to our next destination or head home with laundry to do! We brought our own small charcoal grill and plenty of space to use it while sitting on the back porch. I didn't use the kitchen much but the coffee pot and microwave worked well. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever back in the area. It's a small town but larger towns are short drives away and Dallas is only about an hour and half. Best of both worlds!

Home on the Range

Candice was the best Airbnb host I've ever had. She was so helpful, kind, and responsive. The Airbnb was so peaceful and quiet. It was the perfect location to relax after long days working at East Texas A&M. The commute to the college was well worth it and was only about 12 minutes. If we end up in that area again, I will 100% be staying at this Airbnb again. Clean, comfy, and had everything we needed with clear instructions on arrival and departure. Also, there is a dog named Chevy that we were told might show up. She did just a few times. Chevy listened to commands and was just happy to see us. She wasn't "overly excited" nor invasive. I'm not much of a dog person, but Chevy was a great little occasional addition to the countryside stay. I have no complaints, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Blue Ridge Texas Ranch Escape

KelleyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Quiet, restful, and peaceful. Watching all the livestock was great. The kitchen area was very clean and well appointed. Everything you need to make a meal. Great bed. The ceiling fan was a plus. Recliners made binge watching a breeze. The metal roof was a surprise when the rain storm blew through. Just like Granny’s house. We felt safe and secure under the wide porch roof. We will definitely stay again.
