Ideally located: 1 min walk from the city center and the edge of the Saône, get to a good restaurant can be done on foot. Tournus train station is 12 min by walk. Access to the highway is a 5 minute drive away. The house with its view of our pool is at the back of the garden, completely independent, access is self-contained. Suitable for one or two travelers. Free and public parking in front of the accommodation. Bikes can be put in the veranda of the accommodation.

There is always a first time they say. Raphaël was exceptional! He wasn't only prompt in responding to all our needs, but gone far beyond! We had supper together where he suggested and later he treated us to breakfast before we left Tournus. And of course he didn't forgotten to stock up the fridge, so we could have breakfast the very next morning upon arrival. The apt was very spacious although climbing that steep ladder to bed was a little challenge. When I pointed out that some of the photos didn't match the actual apt, he was very apologetic and explained that Airbnb had added pictures of his ex-office which was in that apt before. Tournus is a remarkable commune full of history and antiquities. The medieval Abbey, a former Benedictine abbey is a must see. To our amazement we noticed the numerous amount of cultural events offered here. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance of the MISA TANGO concert on Sunday. Town and apt recommended! Merci mille fois, Raphaël!

The village of Ozenay is ideally located in the immediate vicinity of the wine route and many pretty very picturesque villages (Viré, Chardonnay, Tournus) 😊I had the opportunity to discover the hostel of Mont Saint Romain, where Noé works, which offers refined cuisine with local products in a fabulous setting (360° panoramic view)
