Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lacombe County

Just spent 10 days at Derrills place. The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Some suggestions would be to add dressers to bedrooms. It is not great living out of a suitcase for any length of time. Also only have Roku tv is not ideal especially when there is hockey playoffs to be watched. The community is quiet and close to everything. Nice deck but cushions on patio furniture could use a cleaning. We enjoyed the hot tub.

Sarah’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway! The location is walking distance to the playground, beach and restaurants. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The private yard came in handy, we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Thanks for being an amazing host, looking forward to staying here again the future!

I had a wonderful stay at Colleen’s Airbnb! The basement suite was absolutely beautiful—immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. She truly thought of everything to make the space welcoming and functional. I especially appreciated how accommodating she was of both myself and my dog, Fletcher. It’s clear Colleen takes pride in her space and goes above and beyond to ensure her guests feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Comfy bed and nice stay!

This might be the nicest air bnb we have ever stayed it. The cabin is cozy and such a quick walk to the lake- but it is all the thoughtful details that really put it over the top. The beds are incredibly comfy, there are blankets to wrap up in everywhere, and there is outdoor gear for every kind of fun you could imagine having. Denise is so thoughtful- she was watching the weather the whole weekend and offered us early check in and late check out to maximize our fun in the sun. Absolutely a must return to!

Very comfortable bed, great pillows, wonderful comforter. The room was large. Her dog was very friendly and took his job of home security very seriously.. the cat made sure that it was out of our way at all times Lily has homemade soaps in the bathroom, which were a lovely touch.

My friends stayed here for a birthday weekend and everything was even better than we expected! The pictures don’t do the place justice of how beautiful the house is. We enjoyed the backyard firepit and BBQ which had all of the amenities we needed. We brought our paddle boards and only had to walk 2 minutes to get to the water. There was also a paddle board available to use at the house and beach towels. The house is on the more secluded side of Sylvan which was perfect for us and we easily could paddle to the busier side. We absolutely loved our stay and we hope to come back again! Thank you Meaghan!

I stayed at Lily Ann’s home to volunteer at a powwow. It was amazing and I loved playing with her cat Luna every morning and evening. Lily Ann is also very friendly and proactive in communication. A pro tip is that you need to take a local taxi if you don’t have a car since Uber isn’t available in Sylvan Lake. Also, reserve your ride to the airport 2-3 days in advance because taxis get booked super quick.
