Cottage vacation rentals in Lac-Simon

Chris’s place is one of the best stay’ve been to. Some of the highlights were as follows but for us the biggest was the tiny little waterfall and steam next to the house. With windows open, the perpetual sound of water flowing through the stream was out of nature’s best book!! Other highlights included: - Gorgeous and spic clean home - Lots of ways you can engage kids - Completely equipped home from kitchen to baths, to games, to kayaks - Chis was always available to support and respond. The only negative we’ve experienced was that house could be better equipped against mosquitoes. We could barely enjoy the gorgeous outdoors deck or the hot-tub due to mosquitoes. We certainly dont expect Chirs can take care of them all, but some more measures like covering the bath tub area or upper deck would make the place like a dream!! That said, we are ever so thankful for the opportunity to stay here, and what’ll always be a cherished memory!

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

My family and I had a wonderful stay, the place is beautiful and was super easy to get to. It’s also family friendly and clean! There’s lots to do and the host provided all the things to have a blast in the water. I would definitely recommend this place. The views are amazing and the chalet is in such a peaceful area. 10/10 it’s such a gem 💎

Wonderful stay, friendly host, clear instructions. The house is warm with the beautiful fireplace in the living room. The back yard is beautiful with several small amenities to rest or have an aperitif while watching the lake. Beautiful lake, beautiful starry sky. A small haven of peace! We'll definitely go back. We had a fantastic time at this beautiful lakefront cottage! The space was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The lake views were stunning, especially at sunset, and we loved having direct access for kayaking and relaxing on the dock. The setting was peaceful and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our host was responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and the entire stay seamless.

Had a great stay here (other than our rainy weather). Still able to enjoy all the amenities and the peace and quiet! Sadly weren’t able to use kayaks or go to the lake but everything about the Airbnb was great! Would come again :)

This place is definitely a home away from home and a great place to unite the families! It provided all of our needs plus more. We love exploring the near towns and often when we had plans to go out we would actually change and stay in instead to relax, play games and be together. Also a 5-star mention is the communication and attention given by our host. If there was anything, they were quick re respond and help us out. We are already looking forward to our next stay! We love this cozy airbnb. It's a perfect size for a family of four and filled with all the comforts of a warm chalet. The enclosed hot tub is such a treat after a long ski day and the family enjoyed the available boardgames and fireplace. Highly recommend!

We held a retreat at this place and it was great for our purposes. There was plenty of room for all our attendees, lots of different spaces to work in, and a great relaxing environment. We especially appreciated the waterfront access and the great hot tub!

A wonderful place to heal and have quality time. Even saw a group of deer out in the open on the frozen lake.

The place is very nice and quiet. But you should be careful about mosquitoes :)

Kris' cottage was a wonderful stay and I would fully recommend it to other visitors! Our group enjoyed playing the games in the basement and the sauna/hot tub outside. The kitchen was stocked and everything was clean. 10/10!

Very refreshing stay! Quiet space. Chalet in a good location with the dock easily accessible to the lake! The boats were perfect. Wish for the back room that makes us feel like we're sleeping in the forest. I recommend it!

This is my second time staying at the Sun House. It was just as amazing and memorable as the first time. Beautiful and picturesque surroundings, a warm and inviting cottage space with great amenities. If you are ever in Quebec and want to stay in a place that feels like a home away from home, but nestled in the Laurentien Mountains, then the Sun House is definitely the place to stay.

Beautiful Beach Cove Cottage! What a wonderful view on the lac loved the private beach!

It was a wonderful space for a mental health retreat! The rooms were nice, the view beautiful and we had great time with social games, kayaking and cooking! George was very reactive each time we had a question!
