Cottage vacation rentals in Lac Philippe - Parc de la Gatineau

We had a guys weekend here and it was perfect. We ended up cooking feasts and their set up for cookware is the best I've seen by far; they've got it all. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom is nice and large, and the property itself is very well set up.

We had a really nice stay at Nadia and John's cottage. The deck was fantastic, and the cottage was really clean and comfortable. The week went by too quickly.

Place is absolutely beautiful, better in real than pictures. There’s a lot to do to keep yourself busy or just chill by the lake or canoe. Take your coffee and take a walk in the backyard pine forest in the morning. Host was very nice and communication was smooth. I would definitely stay in this place again.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway, and loved that we could bring the pups with us! The hot tub and pizza oven were amazing, and the outdoor set up was beyond what we anticipated- games and multiple seating areas! We will definitely be going back!

Sanja is an incredible host! Very friendly and responds super fast. The cabin was perfectly cozy and included great amenities. The hot tub was large and very nice for a chilly night. Definitely recommend!

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Beautiful place for a nice cottage getaway, the building was clean and spacious, filled with all the amenities you could need! Plus the hot tub and sauna made for a great spa day. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had such a relaxing time at the river nest and I would 100% recommend booking this spot. Will plan to go back in the future for sure!! Our hosts were so kind and made us feel right at home! The master bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, and if you like sitting by the fire you'll love the cozzy vibes! Harsh’s cottage is pure magic. Surrounded by peaceful nature and trails, it’s the perfect escape. The open-concept king bedroom with sunrise views, the soothing jacuzzi, and the dreamy outdoor fireplace under the stars made every night unforgettable. But the highlight - Harsh helped my Fiancé plan the perfect proposal. We returned from dinner in Ottawa to find rose petals, glowing candles, a “Marry Me” sign on the deck, champagne, cake, and a handwritten card. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. Harsh went above and beyond with heart and care. A mesmerizing, romantic haven we’ll never forget. Thank you, Harsh.☺️

This was our second time at Stephane’s place and it was just as we remembered. A very special place. It is a great place to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet and reconnect with nature. All while listening to some great music and discovering the small amusing details. Thank you for sharing your incredible place. We needed and enjoyed our time here.

It is a beautiful place and just like the pictures wonderful owners and were very open to our special needs. Open communications and they check in to see if there is anything else you need or if something is missing. Great location and private. We have referred this location to other members of our family and will look and see if it is available the next time we come this way

Angelina and Kevin were great hosts and so responsive. The chalet was well equipped for whatever was required. The family and I would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for those with a large family or large group of friends. So peaceful, relaxing and tranquil.

Our stay was very comfortable. Beautiful cottage in a quiet area right on the water. The home itself is modern but with rustic charm which was very welcoming. Loved our visit!

Beautiful family stay! We brought two toddlers who loved hanging out on the dock, hanging out on the swing and eating on the picnic table on nice days. The DVD collection was awesome as well! No issue with hot spotting for anything else. One thing to note is the (gorgeous) glass table and winding staircase require a bit of extra supervision with young ones. Total paradise for young families or small groups :)

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

An Absolutely Amazing Stay with Superb Hosts! Our recent stay at this Lake Front Chalet, was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we booked, the hosts were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and proactive, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Reading the reviews beforehand definitely helped us envision and prepare for the property. The layout of the home was absolutely great, offering a wonderful flow throughout. All the rooms are very large, providing ample space and comfort for everyone. The amenities provided were fantastic, adding so much to our enjoyment. We especially loved the huge open-concept design with the large windows, which created such an inviting and bright atmosphere. We had a truly wonderful time and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a superb getaway. Thank you to our hosts for such an amazing experience!

This is a lovely cottage, more than big enough for four. The big windows, modern kitchen, comfortable couches and beds, and access to the waterfront exceeded expectations. Majid’s instructions were clear and he answered questions right away. Would definitely come back
