Chalet vacation rentals in Lac-Mégantic

If it was for sale, we would ask to buy it, but it wouldn’t come with our wonderful hosts so we’ll continue to rent it! What a wonderful experience we had enjoying ourselves and beautiful Ayer’s Cliff, Quebec. We visit Quebec quite often from the states where we live and we have stayed in several places over many years and this is one of our favorites. I would recommend to everyone who wants to spend a weekend or a week in the area, to book this chalet. Simply great without forgetting that the owner is really attentive to visit us 30 min after our arrival to find out if everything was okay and tell us that if we lacked anything, do not hesitate to contact him. No need for this because the cottage has everything then the explanations by video sent helps even more to feel welcome. Thank you for this stay. And yes, we'll come back, it's already planned.

Very satisfied with the rental, the chalet was even better than our expectations. As well as being very comfortable, the games provided like the sieve board as well as the vinyls and films were much appreciated. The ONLY thing to take into account is the proximity between the cottages, we had the 375 and had been a bigger group or if everything had been busy in the summer I would have found the 377 a little too close. Renting both should be a perfect arrangement for groups in my opinion.

Very nice place that we discovered and enjoyed as a family, everyone had fun. The services and the space allowed us to have a great time even with an ordinary temperature. Exemplary and fast service as soon as we had questions or concerns. Thank you Pascal…great host!

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) had a beautiful week at Domaine Gagnon. The site is beautifully laid out and maintained and the chalet had everything we needed. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and listening to the bird song. There is plenty to do in the area (beaches, hiking, etc). We hope to be back!

Second visit in last three years. As usual, Patrick hospitality was great. We choose this house as soon as our family and friends group want to away from Montreal and allow kids to enjoy the break/holidays. This house fulfil everyone needs from 5 to 50 year old in our group. I recommend this to families and friends group to have wonderful evening and late evening dinner and talk. The village was very quite but reachable from near by towns. thanks Patrick. Hope to see you again !

The place is beautiful. It preserves a historic building with an extension above. The terrace was superb and had a lake view. Everything was perfect, we would have liked to have more time at the cottage to enjoy it more. I recommend it.

Beautiful clean cottage perfect for family gatherings. There is room to sleep for 16 people and plenty of entertainment to keep you busy on rainy days. Nothing else to say.

We had a great experience at Shelley’s place in Coplin Plantation. The house was spotless on arrival, with plenty of towels/linens for all the guests. Shelley was thoughtful enough to leave us hot chocolate, coffee, and a few essential groceries in the fridge in case of a late arrival. The house was everything and more than we expected and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Sugarloaf/Flagstaff Lake area.

We had a great weekend in this cottage! The lake view is really beautiful, you can't get any closer to a lake! The place is very peaceful, no noise, very quiet, a real haven of peace to disconnect! We'll be happy to go back. 😊

We used this chalet for a reunion of friends from university and found it perfect for our needs. The house and surroundings were beautiful, surpassing our expectations. It was far from town or restaurants, but the well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook as much as we needed. We loved using the nice deck, jacuzzi, yard, games, and kayaks to enjoy the lake experience. It was enough to keep us entertained and relaxed the whole stay. The host was nearby and very responsive although his preparations ensured we didn’t need much!

Beautiful location by the lake. Mrs. Aryane has everything in the cottage to facilitate our stay. Really nice with the family. We loved it. I really recommend it and we're thinking about coming back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless, beautifully located, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect place to relax and recharge. The view was stunning and made every morning feel magical. Communication with Yanick & Claudia was smooth, kind, and always helpful. They truly care about creating a welcoming experience. We also had an amazing meal during our stay — a delicious sirloin with fresh vegetables and salad that made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for comfort, nature, and top-notch hospitality. We’d love to come back!
