Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

New villa, ideally located in Aubenas, a small town in the South Ardèche with all shops. Close access to the roads serving the Gorges de l'Ardèche and the Ardèche mountains. Villa with swimming pool and hot tub open in summer season according to weather (April to October). Off-season, the hot tub may be available upon request, for a fee. This newly renovated accommodation is located in a hamlet, 2000 m from the thermal baths and the park and casino. The location of Vals-les-Bains is ideal, a few kilometers from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and the Ardèche plateau. The house gives you access to a shared pool with 4 other cottages. It is located 100 m at the top of the hill and enjoys panoramic views. Linens are provided. Cure rate for 3 weeks excluding July August. Contact me.
