Kid-friendly vacation rentals in La Roque-sur-Cèze

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

This is truly the absolute best spot to stay in the Luberon. You walk outside your door and are literally just steps to an incredible boulangerie, coffee spot, restaurants, history, and scenery that is awe inspiring. The decor was stunning. This is the rare AirBnB that is better than the pictures- and they were great already! We loved closing out the day with a glass of rose’ on the balcony watching the incredible scenery. The cold plunge pool was such a lovely experience- we are converts! Denis provided exceptional hospitality - he checked in to make sure we had all we needed and was such a treasure. He went above and beyond on his host duties. Our family all agreed this is the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. It has so much character- you feel like you are in a castle- but with modern conveniences like laundry and a great kitchen! If you are even considering this place, book this special home! wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt zu zweit in der Unterkunft von Nathalie und ihrer Familie. Ihr Mann und sie haben uns herzlich empfangen und alles erklärt. die Lage ist traumhaft. Sehr ruhig, perfekt zum Entspannen. Man hat die Wahl, ob man zu den zahlreichen Orten fahren oder die Ruhe genießen möchte. Ebenso hat man sie Möglichkeit Aktivurlaub zu betreiben oder Sightseeing zu machen. Den Abend kann man immer entspannt am Pool abschließen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft definitiv weiter

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Nous sommes venus à quatre dans la région et avons passé une nuit dans le gîte. Tout y était impeccable et nos hôtes étaient très sympathiques et avenants. Superbe expérience 👍🏼

Excellent séjour, dans une belle maison au calme, avec un très beau jardin où se reposer. Maison très agréable à vivre, située dans un bel environnement, proche de très beaux villages à visiter, d’une rivière où se baigner et où l’on peut faire plein de randonnées. Nous avons enfin été très bien accueilli par Valérie, qui est d’une grand gentillesse.

A perfect place to hide away in plain view in Provence. Right in the middle of the stunning town of Menerbes. Steps away from all the restaurants and the curated epicerie. Although pricey, definitely worth it. Maison O was exactly how we imagined it to be. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Beds extremely comfortable and bathrooms with excellent showers which were definitely needed since the day time temperature never went below 30 for the whole week. Apropos that. A little more shade for the terrace would have been much appreciated. Although there is no AC the interior rooms stayed coolish if all doors and windows were kept closed. The whole experience was fabulous. Our favourite evening activity after the heat of the mid day was a stroll to Cafe Progres, purchasing an Apéritif and sitting on their terrace overlooking the valley. A light breeze to cool us down and a chat with the locals. It really was the quintessential experience in Provence. We would not hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful vacation in the Provence! Valerie's place is beautiful and set in one of the most beautiful and quiet villages in the region. It has great views and it made us feel really at home. The apartment has everything that we needed - it was clean, very cozy and tastefully furnished. Valerie was a great host - she gave us excellent recommendations about the local restaurants and we felt really welcomed there. We will definitely come back!

Le séjour idéal pour des moments de détente dans un cadre paisible. Les hôtes sont disponible à tout moment pour quoi que ce soit. Très chaleureux et au petit soins, Bernard est de bon conseils pour trouver les meilleurs endroits où aller promener. Nous avons profité de la piscine et du jacuzzi qui sont très bien entretenu au quotidien. Et notre toutou s’est régalé à pouvoir gambader dans le jardin sécurisé pour lui ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour décompresser du quotidien ! Merci à Bernard et Chantal pour l’accueil.

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Die Wohnung hat Flair und ist wirklich komplett ausgestattet. Die Lage in den Weingärten ist sehr ruhig. Die vielen Tiere versetzen einen auf einen Bauernhof und im Garten kann man wunderbar entspannen. Albert und Christine sind immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit aber auch diskret. Alles in allen eine der besten Ferienwohnungen die wir je hatten und sehr zu empfehlen.

We stayed here as a family of five for a week. An amazing apartment which looks exactly the same as in the photos. Amaury was a fabulous host who was super quick to respond and help. The location is fabulous with a great view of the Arènes. The stand out star of this apartment, is the terrace. Fabulous in the morning for a relaxing coffee and equally good for evening cocktails! A couple of points to note is that there is one toilet and that the only shower is accessed through one of the bedrooms. There is however a lovely bath in the other bathroom. We would highly recommend this place!

The host was super responsive. Apartment looks exactly like the pictures. Very close to restaurants. Everything was clean, no issues at all.

Un bout de Paradis au milieu des vignes. Véronique et Pascal sont charmants et très discrets. Nous avons pu échanger avec eux sur leur passion et sur leurs Arts. Ils sont passionnants. Notre logement était parfait, tel la description. Les plafonds sont bas à l’étage mais comme indiqué dans la description pas de surprise. Une literie parfaite et une très jolie décoration apaisante. Je recommande vivement. Nous y retournerons je pense.

Venez les yeux fermés ! Michelle est vraiment sympa et accueillante. L'appartement est très bien agencé, et parfaitement entretenu, équipé, et confortable. Vous allez au centre ville à pieds en 5 minutes. Vraiment rien à redire. Je reviendrai dès que possible.

Wir würden 10 Sterne vergeben, die Wohnung ist toll, die Lage der Vera da über dem Fluss, die Terrasse am Fluss gibt eine natürliche Klimatisierung an heissen Tagen, am Abend ist die Stimmung besonders gemütlich mit dem Plätschern des Flusses, den sich darin Spiegelungen Lichtern von Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. Im Herzen des viel besuchten Städtchens, wo abends die Ruhe einkehrt. Dann der bequemer Privatparkplatz und nachmittags unter den Platanen am Fluss im grossen Privatpark sitzen und ein Buch lesen. Wunderbar. Wir können die Wohnung unbedingt empfehlen. Denis war immer erreichbar und hat uns den Checkin bestens ermöglicht und viele Tipps gegeben. Er ist sehr nett und seinen Gästen gegenüber aufgeschlossen. Danke Denis für alles!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le logement proposé par Laurence et Philippe. L’appartement est spacieux, très propre et vraiment confortable – on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Laurence et Philippe nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et ont été très disponibles et arrangeants tout au long du séjour.
