House vacation rentals in La Perche

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Two weeks in paradise! Maison UMI is a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its beauty, charm, and tranquility. The house is immaculate. A perfect mix of rustic elegance and modern comfort. Every room is bright, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a peaceful place to unwind. The pool was a highlight. Pristine, sun soaked, and surrounded by idyllic countryside views. We spent hours floating and relaxing under the blue sky. In a huge secure garden which our mini dachshund enjoyed exploring safely. The location is superb: nestled in picturesque countryside, yet just a short drive from charming villages. With Shops and supermarkets also close by for anything you need. Our host, Sanouchka, was exceptional, warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful, making us feel more like guests in a friend’s home. Bonus delight: adorable geese at the end of the garden added a touch of whimsy. Maison UMI isn’t just a stay, it’s an unforgettable experience.

La maison est exceptionnelle et l’hôte l’est tout autant. Tout était parfait, dans les moindres détails et attentions. C’était même mieux que tout ce que j’ai pu voir/imaginer. L’hôte est adorable et nous a fait un super accueil. Je ne peux que recommander cet endroit et je reviendrai sans aucun doute!

Debbie’s place was amazing, meticulously clean and well equiped. The swimming pool area and private loggia was fantastic. Debbie offered heaps of advice on local restaurants and sightseeing and nothing was too much trouble for her she was there to help with even the smallest request She was a wonderful host and a stay is highly recommended

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end dans le gîte de Muriel et Marco. La maison est très bien équipée, idéal pour 4 couples. la 2ème SDB extérieure n'était pas un problème ( en cette saison tout du moins). Les plus courageuses ont pu apprécier la piscine (un peu fraiche encore ) très bien aménagée. Muriel et Marco sont très affables et disponibles. Merci encore...

Wow. We had the most incredible stay here for a family holiday. The house was well equipped and had all the things you would need for a lovely relaxing French holiday. the rooms were nicely presented and clean bathrooms etc. the kitchen and dining space is great for big families and plenty of outdoor seating which we used lots. the location was very picturesque although car is definitely needed as no towns/villages within walking distance (that we were aware of). lots of local places to visit though and a big supermarket only 10 mins drive away. We had a wonderful time and made magical memories, thank you so much Isabelle ❤️

lovely location for a peaceful stay. only 30mins to Bourges, well worth a visit. only 15mins into St Armand. Restaurant Chez Sam is fabulous. Only been open 8 weeks, it's certain to soon be super popular. French food with a Mexican twist

Très bel accueil dans cette maison de campagne percheronne qui a su garder son cachet ! Carine nous a extrêmement bien accueilli et nous avons pu profiter de ce lieu magique en famille. Que du positif !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Le gîte est très accueillant, propre et les petites attentions trop sympas. On a profité du jardin et de la belle terrasse avec vue sur le pré des moutons. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

The location of the house - being close to so many amazing restaurants and markets, and its seclusion - being nestled among empty hillsides, makes it truly unique and special. The charming decor and homey-ness is unparalleled - already cannot wait to come back again!

Long week-end tranquille à la campagne. Très calme. Maison agréable à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Idéal pour un week-end entre amis.

Fantastic location with a wonderful view, there is a very charming courtyard where you can have lunch or dinner or a tiny balcony with a view of the lake and beautiful hills, the inside of the cottage is very charming and you will find everything you’ll need for holiday break!, we will definitely be returning to this magical place!

Sabine was truly an amazing hostess! She took us in like we were family and was super helpful. The place is beautiful and located in a peaceful spot. Chartres is a city that is quite close where you can do loads of great stuff or you can easily take the train there to do a day in Paris. We had an amazing stay!

Très belle maison …. C’est très agréable de passer un moment en cet endroit …. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la grande salle à manger avec les baies vitrées et le reste de la maison. Le jardin est super et le calme de la campagne environnante permet de se ressourcer. Un seul désagrément, un réfrigérateur tout petit avec une étagère déjà rempli et un congélateur plein…. Peu de place pour stocker notre nourriture du week end pour 11 personnes.

bel endroit au calme, pleine nature. je recommande ce logement pour les personnes voulant s'extraire de la suractivité citadine. les animaux de compagnies sont en sécurité. nous reviendrons.

Super séjour dans la maison de Bruno, le logement était fantastique, très propre et avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. La literie est confortable, l'extérieur agreable et le jacuzzi est vraiment un plus pour ce week end de l'ascension. Merci encore Bruno de votre disponibilité et votre accueil.

Notre séjour chez Marianne et Frédéric était superbe, un moment hors du temps dans un vrai havre de paix. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques et tellement apaisants : magnifiques fleurs, le lac, la piscine… tout était parfait ! Les adresses recommandées ont été d’une grande aide et le petit déjeuner était excellent. Merci également à Frédéric pour la visite de son espace dédié à la photographie, c’était très intéressant. Nous reviendrons, c’est certain !

Il était important de trouver un petit havre de paix pour ces quelques jours loin de la ville et cette maison a comblé nos attentes. Hôte super réactif. De bons conseils pour visiter le coin. Très joli jardin. Possibilité de se garer devant le garage. C'était parfait.

Un véritable petit paradis sur terre ! Cette maison est tout simplement la maison du bonheur : pleine de charme, lumineuse, paisible et décorée avec goût. On s’y sent instantanément bien, comme chez soi… mais en mieux ! Merci pour ce séjour inoubliable, nous repartons le cœur léger et des souvenirs plein la tête… until next time !

Un super accueil de Jérôme, toujours prêt à rendre service et faire en sorte que ses hôtes passent le meilleur séjour possible. Ça a été le cas pour nous. Le charme du lieu est indéniable. Grange gigantesque pour les soirées. Mais ne vous attendez pas à du grand luxe. Ça reste rustique et campagnard. Pour nous c'était parfait!

Je recommande fortement ce logement situé dans un très bel environnement et en harmonie avec la nature qui invite à une déconnexion totale. Les équipements sont incroyables notamment la piscine qui est vraiment le point fort. Déborah et Paul sont extrêmement accueillants et chaleureux. Merci encore à eux.

Séjour mémorable passé entre cousines. Le cadre était reposant. Un moment suspendu dans le temps avec une vue qui nous a permis de sortir du Tumulte du quotidien. Pierre a été un hôte chaleureux et très accueillant. Il nous a recommandé de très bonnes adresses et a été facile à joindre. On s'y sent comme à la maison. Petit apparté : le lever du soleil est à couper le souffle. Une piste cyclable est accessible si l'on souhaite courir à proximité :)
