Studio in the lower city

TB! Listing as described, very clean! and very responsive host. Small downside just for the lack of opaque shutters/curtains for those who need to sleep in the dark: it's a large glass window with California blinds. It's also a shame not to be able to fully open to enjoy the brightness because it overlooks the street/ very visible (and lack of privacy). We can, but we can see everything! Nothing much to spend a night there and to go out and enjoy Montrueil sur Mer, within walking distance!

Getaway between land and sea with pool

Heaven. What an amazing place to stay - lovely house, short walk from beautiful Montreuil if you can drag yourself away from the incredible garden! Absolutely gorgeous pool, pétanque, ping pong, table football and a garden the size of a field - the kids never wanted to leave. Guillaume’s parents welcomed us and were just truly lovely people, we really enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and apples from the garden. Thank you so much to Guillaume and his family for the most wonderful break.
A serene garden scene is framed by blooming branches of a tree. A wooden bench sits on a lush green lawn, with flower beds and various plants creating a vibrant landscape in the background. A small shed is partially visible, adding charm to the setting.

We are delighted to have discovered this place in La Madelaine sous Montreuil, everything was perfect for both of us. From the interior decoration to the exterior setting. A big shout out to our hosts where everything breathed harmony. Thank you to the delicate attentions of our hostess that we'll let you discover. We will definitely be back. Just one piece of advice: to try it is to adopt it. Lucette and Jean Francois
The bathroom features wooden paneling and modern fixtures. A round mirror is illuminated with soft lighting above a compact sink. Bath towels are neatly arranged on wall hooks, while a shower enclosure is visible in the corner. A light wood stool adds a natural touch.

Very good stay with Nadège, we were hosted well and the accommodation was faithful to the photos. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful environment. The only area for improvement might be the bed, which squeaks a little, otherwise great! Thank you Nadège!

Downtown with an exterior

Comfortable, well equipped ground floor apartment, well situated within the lovely town of Montreuil sur Mer. Many cafes and restaurants, all in easy walking distance. The apartment was modernised November 25, so everything newly appointed. Great shower, comfortable bed and nice kitchen space. We found parking easy, on the street outside the apartment. There is a small enclosed rear yard. Owners live next door and were available if needed. There are adjoining, locked, internal doors between the properties and yet it was very peaceful. A nice stay.

We had a lovely stay at Marie’s place. The room is very cosy and offers all the utilities needed. We highly appreciated the enormous bath tub, daily breakfast and the responsiveness of Marie. Highly recommended!
A bright landing area features two windows allowing natural light to fill the space. A framed portrait of a dog is mounted on the wall, adding character. The stairway leads downward, with a white railing enhancing the airy atmosphere.

Le Clape en Haut

PeterRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The house was very clean, the sheets were beautifully pressed. The house is very well equiped, especially for little ones. My son loved playing with the toys and also reading the books. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The outdoor space is also small but it is a great spot to have an evening drink or morning coffee. The location was excellent, we could get onto the ramparts in a matter of seconds and walk to town very quickly. We loved having a drink in the main square in the sunshine and also walking around the ramparts admiring the views. Céline was incredibly accommating for us. She let us check-in early on the day of arrival. The house house is in a special location, the street is beautiful and I heard woodpeckers and cuckoos on my way to get bread in the morning Parking is quite handy being near the house. We did have a part of day when it was more difficult but it was a sunny, French Bank holiday so understandable that the town was more busy that day
