Townhome vacation rentals in La Jolla, San Diego

This home was perfect for our big family! We were attending a wedding on Mission Beach and the location was amazing. Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, and (Vons I think?) were within a few min walk from the house. The two provided parking spots made for easy parking. The kitchen was well stocked, the home impeccably clean, and from the room I slept in on the top floor I didn’t hear a sound from the teenagers staying up late downstairs. It is across the street from a middle school, so be aware there will be school sounds, but only during the day. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d definitely choose this home again.

We enjoyed our stay at Lori's place very much. It was great to have a bathroom for each of the three bedrooms as we were in town for a wedding and had several events to get ready for. The coffee was great in the morning and we enjoyed our evening glass of wine out on the deck. Lori responded quickly when we had questions. One thing to note, Lori's pictures do not reflect her beautiful new kitchen and bathrooms. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

Hector’s place was very well located, well stocked with what you might need in the kitchen to comfortable beds and ample “hang out space”. The roof deck is a welcome extra to be able to sit outside in a private area. Located about 3 blocks from the beach and just a few steps from multiple food places, it met our needs perfectly! Thank you Hector for being so responsive as well!

Location location location. Walkable to all of Little Italy. Bed was probably the most comfortable Airbnb/hotel bed I’ve stayed on. Modern, bathroom is updated. It’s on a busy street but insulation is solid so you can’t hear much after 10pm when things die down. We’ve stayed at other Airbnbs in this area where you can hear every conversation or car passing by so it was nice to have silence when we were ready to turn in. No central ac but there is a built in portable ac unit that is very effective. We’ll def come again

Great house, Great location and excellent host.

This is a very spacious, tastefully appointed condo in a nice oceanfront complex. The kids spent hours in the heated pool and the beach accessories (chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers, towels, etc) made days at the beach a breeze!

I had a wonderful stay at this home in San Diego! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe, and everything I needed was close by. The host was very responsive and kind, which made check-in and communication super easy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting San Diego, and I hope to come back again someday!

This was a wonderful location for an easy family vacation. The kids could independently walk around, play tennis, and get in and out of the condo. They loved the loft, and there were plenty of supplies to enjoy the surrounding area. We used the boogie board and enjoyed the beach. We also walked the city and found great coffee, smoothies, meals and bike rentals. Groceries were convenient and there wasn’t much traffic anywhere. The nearby beach cities are easy to get to also, great place to stay for Del Mar racetrack also! The home was clean, all the A/C units worked beautifully, the laundry & other appliances were clean and worked well. Plenty of dishes, glasses, mugs, Tupperware for leftovers, and ziplock bags too. Kristi’s was great, and super attentive, however l, everything was so well thought out that we had no reason to get in contact all week. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

This place was perfect for what our family was looking for (5 adults, 1 toddler)! It was a block away from the beach and close enough to walk to plenty of restaurants and shops. We stayed for a week and never ate at the same place twice! As many other reviews stated, there is plenty of road noise during the day, but it was never an issue at night. Susan was a great host and was always responsive. We had a couple very minor issues at the beginning that she resolved immediately. We can not recommend this spot enough if you are looking for a laid back family trip!

Mission Beach was a great destination for a long weekend, and the home was perfect. The owners were very responsive, offering lots of good local recommendations and communicating with us during our stay to ensure we had a great weekend.

The location is perfect just a couple of blocks next to the beach. The house was clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The 2 garage spots was a plus a plus knowing how difficult is find a place with this description in this neighborhood.

Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and spacious. Had a few nice touches like extra fans and bedding. Very centrally-located to everything we wanted to do, and a short walk from coffee shops and restaurants. It's a townhouse so you do share walls with neighbors who you can occasionally hear. But overall we loved staying here!

Exceptional Stay – Above and Beyond for Family Comfort My family had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb hosted by Soothing Stays. From the start, our host was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. What truly stood out was their extra effort in making our stay safe and comfortable for our family—especially our toddler grandson. They went out of their way to install toddler gates throughout the property before our arrival, which gave us such peace of mind. It’s rare to find a host who not only listens to guest needs but takes real action to meet them. Great and clean place in a convenient location! Close to downtown and balboa park. We enjoyed watching the airplanes fly in, the noise was not a bother at all. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful space! Exactly as described and looks just like the photos. One of the things I loved was all the cabinets, closets, and drawer space to actually put our stuff in! That makes such a difference to not feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. A tiny bit tricky finding it the first time and maps tells you to go a way you can’t get in so every uber/lyft went the wrong way coming to pick us up. But that was minor. Once you know that, you can go the right way. Definitely recommend!

This place was perfect—it's located slightly outside of downtown San Diego, so we were able to enjoy a peaceful stay without dealing with traffic. At the same time, it’s still close enough to the city that getting to any major attractions was easy and convenient. The home looked exactly like the photos—clean, spacious, and well maintained. The host was quick to respond and very helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Note that the master and medium-sized bedrooms are on the second floor, while the smaller bedroom is on the lower level, which might be good to keep in mind when booking. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which made it really convenient for our group. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting San Diego!
