Le Petit Ruisseau, lovely comfortable holiday home

Situated in a small hamlet just outside the historic town of Domfront in the Normandy countryside this lovely holiday home consists of a large kitchen diner with fireplace and a lounge with a fireplace with wood burner on the ground floor. On the first floor are two light and airy en-suite double bedrooms, one has bunk beds. All rooms have views of the large garden that surrounds the property with several seating areas and a graveled terrace for outside dining. Plunge pool available in summer.

Situated on a rural lane officially known as 'LE MARAIS DE ROUELLÉ' it is the last house in the village and the first on an ancient countryside trail, dating back to the 11th century. Standing alone on the lane with a large, semi-circular, ornate front garden a couple of strides away with a larger garden at the rear. Comfortable, cosy and welcoming.

The apartment occupies the entire 1st floor of our house and has been completely refurbished. It's comfortable and functional. Independent entrance to the house. Shops nearby, bars, restaurants and castle. Ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, walks in the forest... Thermal town of Bagnoles de L'Orne 20 km away. Local market on Fridays. Please note, the curtains in both bedrooms are not blackout curtains.

Delightful house in quiet area 15 minutes from Domfront area. Be aware quite steep in parts. Car park within easy reach, no parking onsite. Good sized bedrooms tastefully decorated throughout, very homely and comfortable. As a bonus tv had all English channels, kitchen well equipped. Lots of lovely cherries!

Had a great stay at Nathalie's gite. It was easy to find following her instructions. We found it to be well equipped, comfortable and very clean. We appreciated the heating as the weather wasn't always kind to us. The surrounding area was good for local walks, and getting into the town. We took advantage of the two boulangeries, especially the one in the quarter of St Front and access to Intermarche which was close by. We appreciated being able to sit outside on the patio when the sun was shining!

Excellent stay, the decoration is light and original, the accommodation is well thought out with various places to put or hang your things. the accommodation is spacious for 4 people, the kitchen is very practical this accommodation is very complete with dishes, utensils, dishes etc.... We used the sofa bed which is comfortable and the shutter on the French door helps to darken the room sufficiently. the outdoor area is very friendly. it's very easy to park and Jean is very responsive and accommodating.

We had a great time at this cottage in Normandy! The accommodation was perfectly clean, well-equipped and totally as described. The environment is quiet and very pleasant. Special mention to our host, who was extremely welcoming, available and caring throughout the stay. You immediately feel comfortable. A very nice discovery that we would recommend in a second. Again, thank you for this great experience!
