Very nice, functional cottage with very good bedding. It is in a very good location for bike rides on the Indre and Cher. The little extra: the "Les Javanaises" tavern is a 5-minute walk from the accommodation Marie-Claire is very welcoming and very accommodating Recommended

Marie's home is a hidden gem in the heart of the Loire valley! The house is just a perfect size for a family with kids. We enjoyed every second of our stay in Marie's home and in Loire area. The house has everything a family needs for a perfect vacation: spacious living room, comfortable bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. And on top of that you have a gorgeous garden. The home is tastefully decorated which makes the stay even more relaxing. Definitely recommend! We will come again next time we are travelling in France!

Just a brief stop for us en route to the Uk. I’d highly recommend staying here. The cottage is beautifully presented and the little extras have all been thought about such as coffee / tea / kitchen roll / hand soap / loo roll etc etc. The hosts clearly care and the place is stylish and comfortable. Would definitely return and like to stay longer. Thankyou.

Very clean, spacious and bright accommodation. Located in an outbuilding independent of the owner's house. A large courtyard allows you to park the car and bikes. Very quiet neighborhood. Very good communication. We recommend.

Very well located accommodation for visiting the castles of the Loire, very clean, very quiet, as described. Since everything was perfect, we only exchanged very kind messages with Benedicte. Jean Philippe was wonderful. He met us and showed us the apartment and explained how to use all the items. The apartment is very quiet and is in a beautiful courtyard. The coffee machine gave us the best coffee so far on our trip. I really appreciate that Jean Philippe supplied us with lots of coffee. These little details make a huge difference. We loved the location. The bed and the bath were very nice, we really enjoyed our stay.

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

You can't find a better service that matches the description on the site perfectly. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or suggestion for improvement are very commendable. But as stated in many reviews published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already the best. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the overall situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their home.

Dominique was very welcoming and helped carry our bags up to the apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and beds comfortable. The location was convenient for access to the old town and free parking nearby. We think our baby woke up the next door neighbour in the middle of the night, which we are sorry about 🫣 but we would stay again if Dominique would have us!

Bertrand is a very nice, welcoming and accessible host. The studio is great for 2 people, the setting is beautiful. We will come again

A great place to stay! A few things were a little broken, and needed repair, but overall a great spacious flat. Could have done with more cooking utensils and pots/pans as we struggled to cook with what was there! Fab location- loved the street. Great outdoor area & private parking which was exceptional.
