Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We had a great time at Andrea's house. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable to stay in. Andrea's explanations allow for a simple and self check-in. We had a pleasant time. I recommend it.

Aubeterre is a beautiful village perched on a hill, to be discovered! The cottage was very nice, well-equipped, with a beautiful view from the terrace. Beautiful decoration. Thank you

We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

Great stay in the Paradise! The cottage was very well equipped and very clean. The setting is exceptional and the garden is great and very exotic! I hope to have the chance to come back!! Thank you so much to Kath for hosting! 🌿

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Winnie is very welcoming. Her accommodation is very well-equipped and spacious. The heated pool is a real plus. No complaints. We recommend this quiet place.

We had a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this beautiful house in absolute quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well-equipped, very much above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

Thank you for this charming cottage, we had a great time there with the family. The garden is superb, wooded, quiet and pleasant. The coolness of the house is very nice in summer. Everything is as described, with a bonus of toy bins for kids!! :)

I 100% recommend the accommodation of Alban and Sandrine who are very nice, very welcoming and available hosts as well as their neighbor Virginie who welcomed us at first. The accommodation is as described and as shown in the photos, even more beautiful! Impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, you immediately feel very good there! A beautiful house in a great location for the town, station and river. The house is cool and airy (it was 30°+ when we were there!) and was very well equipped. Parking is on a steep hill, but as long as you've got a decent handbrake you'll be fine!!

Great little comfortable apartment,clean and well equipped, peaceful location, free street parking and walkable (about 20 mins) to town centre. Would definitely rent again and recommend.

Laëtitia is a great host, very welcoming, responsive and available. I highly recommend this listing! In the event that we return to the area, we will return to this place without hesitation.
