Vacation rentals with a fire pit in La Carolina

This is the place I'd really like to recommend. It's a great place for those who want to rest peacefully in a quiet, countryside environment. 1. The host welcomed us with quick communication and kindness. It was comfortable and satisfying throughout the stay, not to mention before check-in. 2. The accommodation was really clean, and it was comfortable because it was equipped with kitchen utensils, toiletries, and towels. 3. The property is located in a highland overlooking Kumbya. It's not far from the city center, and I don't think it's a difficult place to access if you have a vehicle. It's a great place to enjoy a beautiful garden and a peaceful atmosphere. (Pretty cats and birdsong are a bonus) 4. The pre-ordered breakfast was of a higher quality than expected. I would recommend it to those staying. I would like to express my gratitude to the host for taking good care of me again, and I hope to stay again if I get a chance.

Casa Maconda is gorgeous, with whimsically decorated with Vicky's personal tasteful touches. It is in excellent shape, clean, and very comfortable. I slept well and had a chance to decompress. It has a gorgeous garden and exquisite views of Cumbaya and Tumbaco. Every day, I woke up to the harmonious sounds of singing birds and to the view of hummingbirds by the colorful bougainvilleas by the balcony of the master bedroom. The neighborhood (San Pedro del Valle de Nayon) is peaceful, quiet, and most important, safe, while also being a short drive to restaurants, cafes, boutiques, supermarkets, mini-markets, shopping strips and malls. Nayon is lower than Quito therefore warmer and much more pleasant. Victoria (Vicky) is a super star host, communicates well, responds to her guests' needs in a timely fashion providing a positive Airbnb experience. As a courtesy, she decorated the house beautifully for the holidays. I truly enjoyed my stay at Casa Maconda and highly recommend it!

Amandine's place is very 'organic' to stay in, if you know what I mean - the whole house and property is constructed with natural materials, lots of quality wood furnishings in the kitchen and property. The area is great, within a 10minute walk down the stairs near the property (not by the road, so no cars) you're next to the church and another, 10 minute from there you are at a beautiful park with grass, trees, etc. In the other direction, towards Quito, you're at a supermarket (supermaxi) within 15 minutes walking along quiet neighborhood streets. So the location is great. Amandine is also very nice, and her family as well, and the area is very quiet. Feels very countryside for being just a 10minute-uber from the centre. The only negative was it was a bit dusty, but this is likely because we booked the night before AND also asked to check-in early, or because we were the first booking in awhile. Everything else was perfect, so I'm sure this won't be a problem in the future.

The place was very well taken care of. Communication was awesome with the host. I recommend this place to anyone who comes to Quito.

We stayed at Wendy and Xavier’s for a month and from the moment that we walked into the apartment it felt like home. You will never find another airbnb that is as well equipped as this one. There was everything from a full complement of spices, an array of small kitchen appliances, a bathroom scale and even a tennis racket and balls. The building is conveniently located across from La Carolina Park and within walking distance of the new subway. The building is very secure and we appreciated having a keypad for easy entry to the apartment. Communication with Xavier was great and his responses were complete and seemingly instantaneous. We had a wonderful experience here so much so that we are returning for our last few days in Quito before returning home.

The cabin is amazing, a spacious, clean, tidy, beautiful place. It's bigger than they describe, the location is quiet. They have several walking trails, and there are recreational places nearby. However, if you don't want to leave the cabin or go too far, you can walk the trails quietly. The people who hand over the keys are very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place, the host responds quickly, and gives good directions to get there. Everything was excellent!
