A home to arrive and feel good. If you are looking for a cozy and tranquil atmosphere, this is the place to be. Not far from Cotignac, you can enjoy the tranquility. At first, we thought that the accommodation was somewhere in the middle of nowhere (we only planned a trip to the Verdon Gorge), but then, also thanks to the great tips of the hostess, we found that the area has a lot to offer and something for every taste. Since we haven't been able to explore everything yet, we'll be happy to come back.

An outdoor area features a saltwater pool surrounded by a sun terrace and comfortable lounge chairs. Olive trees provide shade alongside vibrant flowers. The view extends over the landscape, highlighting the gentle hills and distant town, offering a serene atmosphere.

We had a lovely stay! The house was spotless and the view was simply stunning, perfect for a peaceful break. Our dog felt very comfortable and loved exploring the surroundings. There’s not much to do right nearby, so it’s ideal if you’re looking to slow down and relax. One thing to be aware of: if total privacy is a priority, you might find the host’s presence a bit noticeable, as she is very dedicated to taking care of the property. However, she was always kind and respectful. Overall, a beautiful place to recharge!

The different terraces offer opportunities for rest and meals in groups. The pool is ideally located, and very pleasant. And Colette is a very welcoming and available host. Anyway, I highly recommend this rental.

Les Vaches was a magical place, full of character and carefully restored to preserve the French spirit. The pool was heated, the barbecue was ready to enjoy the sausages from Cotignac's market on Tuesday, the fireplace had wood ready to be burned and the rooms were beautifully decorated with flowers from the garden. It was the right place to make us forget about work for a few days. Thank you so much.

This is clearly the home of two highly creative individuals, filled with interesting and beautiful objects whilst also having everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The location and view are sublime albeit as mentioned in several previous reviews, it takes some effort to get there. Honestly, so worth it. Contignac is a truly beautiful, typically Provencal town with great restaurants and shops. John and Richard responded super quickly to our questions and communicating with them a pleasure. We were sorry to have to leave this little piece of paradise.

An outdoor living space features wicker sofas arranged around a central table, sheltered by a wooden roof. A barbecue area is visible, while green foliage and potted plants add a touch of nature. Terracotta tiles complete the rustic ambiance.

Charming 18thC Farmhouse

We had a lovely stay in Edward’s beautiful home. We enjoyed the garden, the pool and the shady spots and in the warmest hours, the coolness of the house. We were travelling together with my brother in law and his family, and the layout of the house worked perfectly for two families travelling together. There was plenty of space for the children to play both indoors and outdoors and extra toys for the pool as well. We felt very welcome and every question we had was answered right away. It is a beautiful place in a beautiful town and we can’t recommend it enough😊
