Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

The open plan barn is spacious with views of the Pyrenees from the first floor south facing french windows. The ground floor French windows provide fabulous light. There is a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed and 1 bunkbed underneath. There is a clic clac sofa on the ground floor. The simple kitchen is well equipped. The shower room is on the ground floor and there is also a separate toilet with a sink. The sleeping spaces are divided from the open plan spaces with curtains.

Former textile workshop rehabilitated into a warm family home. Its spacious and elegant main room made up of 12 walls is lit from sunrise to sunset. Located 30 minutes from the Monts d'Olmes ski resort, 20 minutes from Lake Montbel and close to the Cathar castles (20 minutes in Montségur) and 2 minutes from the greenway. We recommend walks to Roquefixade, the Frau gorges or the Fontestorbe fountain and a few summer evenings at the Roquefort waterfalls reception.

Our very spacious house ( classified 3* ) is located in a small village at the foot of the mountains, 18 km from the resort of Monts d 'Olmes and 7 minutes from the castle of Montségur. The house is composed, on the ground floor, of a large living room (100 m2) and on the floor of a large bedroom with bathroom + dressing room, two large bedrooms and a bathroom. You can enjoy the small garden and park your vehicles there.
