Peaceful lakeside cabin – with its own jetty and boathouse with a patio. Stay right on the waterfront, in Hardangerfjorden! Including kayak, canoe, paddleboard, fishing rods and snorkeling gear. Great for fishing, diving, snorkeling, swimming and relaxation – all year round. Sleeps 8 (10). 5 min walk from parking (path + stairs). Backpack and good shoes are recommended. 1 parking space (possibility for more). Electricity and water for boat guests upon agreement. There is a lot to see and do in the area – just ask, I will share tips on attractions and destinations!

Neristova, farmhouse on Varaldsøy, Hardangerfjorden

Charming old farmhouse for rent on beautiful Varaldsøy. Located inland, about 500 m from the ferry dock, with a beautiful view of Hardangerfjorden, Folgefonna and Kvinnheradfjella. The house is about 90 m2, plus an attic with 3 bedrooms/attic rooms. 11 good sleeping places plus baby bed, kitchen and bathroom are refurbished in 2022/23. Terrace, outdoor furniture and barbecue. Great hiking areas right outside the door, about 500 to the beach. Bed linen and towels are not included but can be rented. 14 ft boat with 9.9 hp engine can be rented.

Idyllic and undisturbed gem by the sea

Welcome to Nautaneset! Originally an old croft that is now used as a holiday home. The cabin is located undisturbed by Sævareidsfjorden with road all the way up. Here you get access to a charming old house, large green areas, good swimming opportunities, fishing opportunities and a boathouse with access to kayaks, fishing equipment, outdoor toys, fire pan and outdoor furniture. Outside the boathouse there is a large plot and a wood-fired hot tub. The area is child and animal friendly. Water from well, drinking water from tank.

The apartment is in the heart of Rosendal. Right outside the door there are unique hiking opportunities. Short trips to Barony or longer trips to Melderskinn, among others. At our place you can have breakfast for sea view and enjoy local apple cider on the porch at sunset. The resturants and food shops are close to the apartment and walking distance to the local pub. The apartment is just a stone's throw away from the bus terminal and the express boat terminal, so here you can get both with and without a car.

Here you can relax in a newly renovated building from the 1880s. There is fully equipped kitchen with everything one could need. Duvets and pillows for all beds. Bed linen can be rented. The place is a good starting point for swimming, kayaking, mountain hikes or glacier hiking. Short way to the store and gas station. Wonderful base for holidays and recreational activities like mountain hiking, bathing, fishing, glacier climbing, canoe paddling, etc. Tourist attractions nearby. Bed linen NOK 150 per person.

3 Great cabin right on the shore of Åkrafjorden

Welcome to this cozy holiday home with a unique location right down by the fjord. Car road all the way to the door. The coastline offers swimming opportunities and Åkrafjorden offers great fishing opportunities. The house is located in a wild and magnificent natural area with fjords and mountains. Here there are good opportunities for some nice trips in the beautiful surroundings. Grocery store about 200 meters away. Gasoline and diesel are also sold here. The cabin has Wi-Fi and Chromecast for TV.

Spectacular view with ocean access, 1h from Bergen

Take in the beauty, peace & calmness of the majestic Western Norwegian scenery - you can't get much closer to the fjord than this. situated only 15m from the coastline, with easy ocean access. This is rare, due to the strict building laws near the coast. The apartment is facing south, & has excellent sun conditions all year round - also rare for Western Norway. Only 1hr from Bergen, the city centre of Strandvik boasts a multisport facility, with sports ranging from beach volleyball to football.

Traditional Norwegian cabin

Cozy old cabin with heart room for the whole big family. A good starting point for skiing in Fjellhaugen, or visiting Rosendal where you will find both the barony and Folgefonna National Park. Or just to relax and watch the kids enjoy themselves in the garden. Note that it is an old cabin, which both needs a coat of paint and extra insulation (cold in winter). We took over the cabin in 2017 and rent it out to save money for renovations. But we love it the way it is now. Hope you will too ❤️

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Apartment by the lake in Uskedal, short distance to beautiful mountain peaks such as Ulvanåsa, Englafjell, Solfjell etc., also shorter hiking destinations for those who wish. The apartment has access to a common jetty where it is nice to swim or sit and enjoy the view and the sea air. The apartment has 2 small balconies, one overlooking the lake and one overlooking the mountains. Short drive to Rosendal and to Fjellhaugen ski resort.

Large house near beach with possibility for boat rental

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence. Great view of the fjord. Short distance to central places. Rosendal is about 17 km away. Here you will find Baroniet, Steinparken and Galleri Guddal. Jondal is about 36 km away, where, among other things, Folgefonna Glacier Ski Resort is very popular. Distance to Bergen is about 92 km, and Trolltunga in Ullensvang about 55 km. Short distance to Strand, about 300m. Boat can be rented additionally for NOK 3,000.

A pearl by the sea.

Quiet and nice place about 4 km past Strandvik city center. There is a shop-restaurant/pub and a great park. Sand volleyball courts are there too. The house is idyllically located close to the lake. Canoe can be borrowed and the fishing opportunities are good. The boat in the pictures can be used. We also have some bikes that can be borrowed. Excellent for anyone who wants a holiday in quiet surroundings. All cleaning is taken care of by the host

Peaceful hideaway in mighty surroundings

High quality interior and building , built in 2012. Big open spaces, lots of sleeping fasilities in the shared area. I built this cabin as a sanctuary, for myself. Priority are light open spaces, not many bedrooms. Now time is right to share with you - please feel welcome! Shopping in Jondal, ca 25 min drive away. Or in Odda - ca 1 hour drive. ...yes, that is where you find Trolltunga :)
