We had a great stay in Simens house. Location is great, just by the fjord. Has enough space and the needed amenities. The views to the fjord are spectacular. Sleeping was good, house was clean and communication with Simen was great. Definitely recommended if you want to stay by the Hardangerfjord.

The house is very well located and quiet. It is modernly furnished and equipped with everything needed for a stay: enough cutlery, dishes, cooking pots, pans and other kitchen equipment including various electrical appliances. The bathroom was just as well equipped. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time very much. The hot tub with a great view over the bay sweetened the unfortunately somewhat bad weather for us. Many thanks to Mia and Morton for their friendly communication and hospitality!

I can’t wait to come back again soon. Hege is a great host! What a peaceful and beautiful cottage. We had a very relaxing time. The kitchen is well-equipped and the surroundings are stunning. It’s a decent walk down to get there but well worth it.

We (2 adults, 2 children, one dog) stayed at the property for almost two weeks. We liked the house, especially the terrace and the direct location on the fjord. Christian was very nice and always responded quickly, thank you for that!

Gunnlaug is a very caring host. Lovely furnished and very well equipped house with a wonderful view, even more beautiful than in the pictures. Very childfriendly with a nice playroom with kitchen. A fantastic area, we had a lovely time here.

The stay at this beautiful cottage was fantastic! We spent 4 great days here. The cottage is even more beautiful than in the photos, everything is super clean and furnished with love. It felt right at home. Mai Britt gave great tips for the area, all necessary information was there and even a sweet welcome basket on arrival. Absolute recommendation!!

Me and my friends went on a weekend trip there and location was beautiful. Home felt very cozy, peaceful, was clean and spacious enough for eight people. Towels, bedding and toiletries were provided. Beautiful garden and backyard with plenty of places to sit outside to enjoy morning coffee's and evening drinks. Host always responded fast and was helpful whenever we needed help.

Everything's great. Even extra freezer. Great boat. Everything you need was on site. Only downside: you can hear the street. The owner is very friendly, always helpful.

Our family had a wonderful weekend in the cabin! The sea view was absolutely perfect – even better than expected. There was so much space around the cabin, and we really enjoyed playing ball and darts outside. We were lucky to have sun all day long, which made our stay even better. The cabin had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The thoughtful details and interior design made the cabin feel very cozy and welcoming. The cabin exceeded our expectations and was really breathtaking. Not usually a morning person but after waking up to the beautiful view, I’ve never been more appreciative of it. Richard has been very helpful of the process to getting us the best experience for our visit. Which made it also easier to plan ahead. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for peaceful and comfortable place, even if it’s just for a short period or longer.

A warm welcome on arrival and a lovely cozy cabin, located in the middle of beatiful nature, perfect for hiking and exploring the area. We are really happy we got to enjoy this special place for a week.

A very nice cottage, quietly located. It takes about 20 minutes from the ferry to the house, partly over gravel. We had a lovely week. Fishing possible from the boat. For hiking, however, we drove out a little further by car. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Staying at Erland's cabin felt like being welcomed by family. From our first inquiry, Erland was incredibly responsive, helping with everything from navigating to Sydnesøya to settling in and exploring the area. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and full of cozy charm. We loved the decks and outdoor spaces, perfect for dining al fresco and soaking in the serene surroundings. The cozy greenhouse became my favorite spot for reading and unwinding. We enjoyed exploring by boat and kayak, and easily catching fish off the docks or at local spots. The kids loved wandering the island and watching ferries pass by. Our week here was peaceful and rejuvenating, offering the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. We cherished every moment and can't wait to return!

Wonderful place in an idyllic setting. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to sleep in a cabin overlooking the fjord. The house is much more spacious than the pictures show. The view of the fjord is masterful and changes appearance depending on the sun. All modern comforts were there. We were even able to take advantage of the boat rental to go around the islands. We were novices but we can thank Ove's patience who gave us all the explanations on how to handle the boat. The kids loved the experience and were even able to swim in the fjord. It was certainly the best place we had during our stay in Norway.

The view is full of beautiful blue water surrounded by rich, lush, beautiful plants, trees and snow top mountains (even in late May)in the background, it is breathtaking! The house is cute and clean. Be prepared for a hike down from the road to bring your bags. The three of us had a wonderful time!
