Meisehaugen - charming cabin with nice outdoor area

Meisehaugen is a unique city. It is undisturbedly located in the middle between Norheimsund and Øystese. The road goes all the way up and there is parking behind the cabin. The view is large, with Folgefonna in front. The oak forest and apple orchard frames the grounds and birds and flowers make the garden great to be in. The cabin with annex can house 6 (7) adults. We also have a travel bed and chair for infants. The annex has a good workspace for work and creative services. The hiking possibilities are many, and it is easy to travel by both car, bus and bicycle.

Welcome to our log cabin from 1890. Here you get proximity to mountains, forests, water and animals. The summer months you have the opportunity for many great mountain hikes in the nearby area, or an 8 minute drive to the sea. The winter months this is a snowy place with groomed trails nearby. The old log room, so it's floor cold in winter. Even if there is a panel oven for electric heating, you have to charge you on wood burning to get good heat in the living room. This charming old villa is situated at a beautiful small farm with a farmhouse, a ceramic studio with a woodkiln, and a family home . The farm is overlooking the fjord and glacier and the view is absolutely stunning. Ideal for families! Great cabin for rent to guests who want to leave the cabin in THE SAME CONDITION as it is received. When the cabin is left, it is in the condition you want to find something to rent. No one washes/condiments after you, and guests complaining about poor order/cleanliness when they check in, this will turn out on the previous guest, who will get a bad character on Airbnb. Eden, charming home with your own private beach and garden. The house is by it self right next to the fjord, it has large windows with much light. Spectacular views gives you the feeling of nature up close. The nearest city is Bergen one hour away, approx 40 min to the glacier, and only 6 km to the nearest town with restaurants and shops, in town you also have free access to the lokal gym. Wonderful location, private and yet central, close to different activities and adventures .

Cozy cabin on the mountain, in idyllic surrounding

Cozy restored cottage of 45 m2 Kvamskogen. Large terrace with nice view of the mountain. Home TV with chromecast, Dvd, Wifi. Heat cables in floor in bath, hallway. The cabin does not have water, but there is a roof water system, storage of about 500 ltr and hot water 200 ltr. Works like running water. The rain fills the tamk in a few hours. If the tank goes empty - water can be collected in the river,or from the reserve tank.The cabin has a Cinderella combustion toilet.
