At the cabin you can see the northern lights dancing over the cabin on a clear winter evening or experience the light 24 hours a day on a summer evening.

In winter there are good opportunities for all ski activities and snowmobiles. Ski trail starts close to the cabin area. The cabin is located about 90 km from Alta. Only 9 km to the store in Burfjord or Langfjorden. At the cabin, you can see the northern lights dancing over the quenans on clear winter evenings. As well as watching the whales enter the fjord and the golden eagle sail over the area.

Good opportunities for fishing if there is to be in the salmon river in the summer or sea fishing all year round. Right in the middle of those who like and go on randoneeski/mountain skiing or regular cross country skiing. Snowmobile is also one eldorado, approved trails from sea to wide. 25 km to the nearest village Storslett, takes 20 minutes by car. For those who hunt the northern lights, this is in the middle of nowhere.

The cabin lies in this beautiful vally in Øksfjord called Vassdalen. its surrounded by high mountains with many possibilities, in the summer there are many hiking trails of different difficulty and length. You can also fish in the freshwater about 80m from the cabin. In the winter you can start straight from the cabin to climb to high and wild mountains with lots of snow and extreme skiing, or you can walk in a light trail nearby.

Out on the countryside with very little noise-, and light pollution. Chilled out athmosphere with a view of the Altafjord and its surrounding mountains. Close to woods if you like hiking, picking berries or mushrooms. Northern lights often pay us a visit during winter months. Gym equipment in the first floor, and the old main road as an awesome 24/7 run track. You can borrow boat if you like to go fishing on the fjord. I work as a fisherman, and the house is therfore often empty.
