Beachfront vacation rentals in Kvadraturen

We spent a week in the beautiful house. The location is just wonderful and you have enough space. Everything you need is available (except for bed linen - you have to bring these or you buy it on site). From the property, you have many opportunities to walk to the island. If you want to stay in the accommodation for a day, you won't miss out on the big windows of luck:) The value for money really fits here. We would spend a vacation here again any time.

Arve has been a great host and a very nice man. His apartment is very nice and clean. Everything you need is here, whether it is for short-term or long-term rentals. The location is 10/10! Highly recommended!!! :-)

What a stunning treehouse. The view from the window, the lake and nature looked like painted. A truly magical place. The house is absolutely smartly made and very comfortably built. We came to rest very much, just as we wished. Knut André and his wife Mara prepared everything lovingly and meticulously, so we felt very comfortable and at home. There was nothing missing for us. The kitchen was great. The supply of water, gas, wood and candles was well prepared. The sauna and hot tube have rounded off our stay. Plus three days of bright sunshine. ☀️ What more could you ask for. We even transported our stuff by boat. Thank you for three unforgettable days. Maik, Isabel and Teddy 🐾

Our most beautiful place so far. We felt very, very comfortable. They even had the offer to go boating. I'm sure we'll be back, as we simply find the cottage, area and landlord great.

Well equipped house and well cleaned when we arrived. We were a group of 9 and this was perfect considering the number of sleeping places.

An absolutely amazing apartment that exceeded all expectations! Modern, spacious and elegantly decorated, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is fully equipped, bed is incredibly comfortable! The location is perfect – quiet area, but at the same time short distance to the city center. The safest experience I've had in the context of renting a place to stay on a trip. Spacious, clean, and tidy vacation rental that verbatim is consistent with listing descriptions. Access to indoor pool, hot tub and sauna a stone's throw away from the unit. We got to use these amenities without a time limit. Very comfortable! Host Mergim, is by far one of the very nicest I have greeted. Incredibly tidy, safe, helpful and flexible. Good communication as needed during the entire stay. Highly recommended for any person who values a safe host on an equal footing with accommodation. Mergim is top notch. 10/10 ⭐️

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!

Overall an awesome experience. Very special location by living on an island 3-4min away from the land in a very modern house. Jørgen is a great host and is very helpful. The communication was very easy and fast.

Very happy with your stay. Kid-friendly with nearby playgrounds. Big plus with access to swimming pool. The apartment was well equipped with what you need, even toys for the little ones. The whole family had a great time. Cozy and accommodating host. Nice to travel to all year long. We were there on Easter. 30 min drive to Dyreparken, but it was worth it.

The house is really very nice, the view is magnificent and the house owners always help directly if something is wrong. The boat trip is a special experience. In summer with pool, but also in winter a great house. Two rooms have a great view on the water, the others are smaller. Two very nice bathrooms with underfloor heating. The kitchen has everything you could need. In the harbor is directly a gas station for the boat and for cars and a supermarket. Kristiansand is 20 minutes by car and also a very beautiful city. The water is very clear and the scenery around the cabin is just very nice.

We had a wonderful long weekend in the great holiday apartment! We were two families and 10 people, and had plenty of room. The apartment was very clean and nice, tastefully furnished and well equipped! We particularly appreciated the access to the indoor pool, and playgrounds just outside. Very nice host. I highly recommend the place!

We were passing through Kristiansan and spent one night in the apartment. Very clean, 5 minutes from the train station. 100% recommended.

What an unforgettable and pleasant stay at Flakk Gård. The farm is very family friendly with plenty to do for kids i.e trampoline, sandbox, playhouse. Our kids enjoyed feeding the goats bread, petting the kitties and playing with the puppy. Situated on a private road right on a lake and surrounded by beautiful scenery with hiking trails and a waterfall close to the property. The farmhouse interior was just as described, clean and very homey. Hot tub was nice to enjoy after a long day at Dyreparken (20min drive). Best of all, the owners were kind and friendly people which made the stay that much better. Thank you Christine and Per Kristian so very much for your accommodation and kindness towards our girls. This is a vacation they will never forget thanks to you. Best of luck with the new additions to your animal family. We hope to see you again someday!

Great location, close to waterfront and bars / restaurants. The place was very clean and had everything you need. Someone was there to welcome us on arrival and was very responsive to messages. Only small downside was the bed felt a bit small for the two of us but my partner is quite tall and this was outweighed by the other good things in the apartment!

Cheerful host who greeted us very much. The apartment is very centrally located and is very child friendly since it are "play parks" in total area. Would definitely recommend 👍

I stayed one week in Kristiansand and enjoyed Dag’s place. It is perfectly located in Kvadraturen, with a lot of nice places at walking distance. The neighbourhood is calm and silent at night, perfect for a relaxing sleep. Definitively a good solution for one or two persons.

Very nice apartment to stay for a few days. It had everything we needed.

Communication with the host was smooth and helpful. Overall, a great experience but I would recommend it for more than one night.

The place was amazing, and the host was always quick to reply to either phone calls or text. Will visit this amazing place again for sure!🤩
