Arjeplog and its surroundings are a paradise for those who like to go hiking, swimming, fishing and skiing. In winter, the Galtis ski slope is open, and the cottage area is close to the slope. Enjoy the cozy sauna after your outdoor activity. Feel free to light a fire in the fireplace next to the house. The mountain cabin is located 13 km east of Arjeplog.

In summer the sun never sets: swim off the dock at midnight, paddle the still water, then warm up in the sauna. In autumn the lake turns glass-calm, the forest goes gold, and the Northern Lights return over the water on clear nights. Jäckvik's ski lift is only 1.5 km away where you can go downhill skiining or use the crosscountry tracks. With Jäckvik as a starting point you can drive snowmobile or fishing in Hornavan and in the mountain lakes. If you like walking, Kungsleden does not pass far from the house.
