Staying in Mondulkiri with Heng was a wonderful experience. Her home and traditional hut accommodations are relaxing and beautiful. Heng is a wonderful person and she is very helpful if you are interested in tours, recommendations, food, local knowledge, or connecting with the local community. I highly recommend her place as part of your Cambodian travels.

We love nature and privacy. This place was exactly what we were looking for. The host is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great tips. If you are looking for jungle with stunning sunset, no luxury but very comfortable (great mattress, spotless clean towels, solar powered shower, spacious veranda), this is the place to come to. We enjoyed every minute

Farm House with Bunong Culture

The house was designed to preserve the original spirit of Bunong architecture. The house structure helps keep warm during the rainy season and naturally cools down during the dry season—all without air-conditioning. We’ve added large glass windows to allow natural sunlight in, as traditional Bunong homes don’t have windows and can be quite dark. Each room also has custom-designed airflow-only windows (they cannot be opened), keeping fresh air inside while respecting the original design.

The bathroom features a spacious vanity area with a modern sink and ample storage beneath. A large mirror reflects natural light, while a separate shower area with transparent glass doors is visible. Outside the window, lush greenery can be observed, enhancing the serene atmosphere.
