If you are looking to escape to serenity, this is the perfect hidden gem for that. This unique retreat is nestled in a peaceful setting, in the middle of nowhere, perfect for unwinding with loved ones. Oh and did I mention the thoughtful snack bar, a real game-changer, something that really blew my mind, especially with shops far away. We were able to get all the basics at our connivence. Thank you to our host's exceptional service and flexibility, which shone through, from prompt responses to a generous late check-out. Overall ? Exceptional value for money, I would highly recommend this spot for relaxation and rejuvenation.

This was a lovely, well furnished, comfortable apartment underneath (independent from) the main house. Two generous bedrooms each with ensuite, both bedrooms with views through the gardens and golf course to the mountains beyond. Annie was an excellent host. Everything we could wish for could be found in the apartment, it felt like home (actually nicer than home!). The facilities at the neighbouring resort are walkable whereas supermarkets and additional dining options require driving a few kilometres and going in & out via security checkpoint.

I love the place. Easy to find. Clean and homely. I love the born-fire place and braai area. Very cosy place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying here. The animals come to visit you throughout the day, and it's a great experience to see them up close. The house is very well maintained, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. There is a restaurant on the premises, and a shop that caters for most items you need. Also some small home-based shopping in the reserve we you can buy homemade goodies, biltong, wood etc. Very safe, so we were happy that our teenagers could walk around and do their own thing whiles we sat on the porch! Would definitely recommend for a peaceful, relaxing bush holiday. Definitely worth coming back for another visit.
