Let op GEEN wifi. Er lopen tamme varkens in de tuin. This retro-caravan in Dutch style for 4 people has a nice free view. (NO Wifi!) Next to it is the same caravan, but smaller. This space has been converted into a bedroom with a very large double bed. We have 2 tame pigs who are free in the garden

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! We had a great experience staying at the cottage! Rianne was very responsive and friendly, and left great instructions for practically every aspect of our stay, from how to get there to how to use appliances. The place was clean, peaceful, and lovely inside. Lots of work and care went into this place and it shows! We would definitely stay there again.

What a lovely time we had in this lovely and quiet house. Fantastic rural surroundings and the house is in an apple orchard. The cottage has all the comforts and the wifi is excellent. We stayed here for 4 weeks due to a renovation. Marc and Maria are cozy, friendly, quiet and interested people. We had a regular chat and if there was anything they were ready right away. They also have a nice dog Bear who always greeted us enthusiastically but didn't bark. You are within walking distance of the cozy village of Schoonhoven with many bars and restaurants. Furthermore, you are easy by bus in both Rotterdam and Utrecht. In short, a great place to be a time.

We spend the whole week in the apartment. First - Location. It's perfect! In the city center, close to main square, quiet, very nice & beautifull. Second - Apartment. Clean, functional, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, nice living room, everything works as it should. Very nice views from the apartment, although widows are not very big (attic). Top floor in a beautiful building (without elevator with quite steep stairs, but corridors and staircase are really nice). Very good relation of the price to the quality. Everything looks as on pictures. Highly recommended :)

I loved staying at Arjan & Leon's place, which used to be a hat shop and has TONS of character. It's in the perfect location to explore the center of Gouda on foot as you are right next to the old (& beautiful) city hall, the weekly cheese market which is held around it, as well as many sidewalk cafe's and restaurants. Both hosts are extremely friendly & very easy to communicate with, and I was able to meet Leon in person, which was really nice. I would love to stay again when I'm next in Gouda!

What an interesting place to stay - very historic and clearly much loved by the family who own it. It is full of antiques, curiosities and paintings. We were bike touring so particularly appreciated the lovely hot shower and the sauna.

A very homely place with friendly hosts who were always responsive, flexible and helpful. The toilet is just outside the apartment in the communal hall, but it was for our sole use, and was not at all a problem, so don't let that put you off. The bedroom and ensuite shower in particular are very stylish and look to have been newly refurbished. A lot of thought has been put into providing everything you could possibly need, and making the place comfortable. We especially appreciated the mattress toppers for the sofa beds, and slept very well.

A modern kitchenette is shown, featuring a stainless steel sink paired with a sleek faucet. A small potted plant adds a touch of greenery against the contrasting black tiled backsplash, enhancing the contemporary feel of the space.
