Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Time out from everyday life in our historic accommodation. Idyllic secluded location on the edge of the forest. A car is needed as there is no connection to public transport. Wiehl center is about 3 km away with various shops, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is provided by radiators connected to our heat pump, which is powered by green electricity. On the first floor is the modern furnished living-dining room with open kitchen, a pellet fireplace, a bedroom and the shower room. The kitchen offers all amenities with a dishwasher, oven, coffee maker and toaster. On the upper floor, there is a large bedroom with panoramic windows and an extra sofa bed. The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. The new country house is something very special: spacious and comfortable, furnished with high quality furniture, with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Through the mainly glazed front of the house you look over the garden into the wide landscape of the Oberbergisch. The country house is built ecologically. The small lodge with two additional sleeping facilities (only suitable for sleeping on warm nights) is located on the garden slope. In the garden there is a new sauna house.

Cozy apartment since September 2017 in a very quietly located former farmhouse on the edge of the forest. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, you will not find it here. However, if you want to switch off and are looking for relaxation, you have come to the right place. Certified by the DTV with 3 stars. If desired, the refrigerator (for a fee) can be filled. In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

Dog-friendly home. ENTIRE HOUSE: If you'd like to book the entire house, no problem. Only possible with a booking of 9 or more guests. CORONA UPDATE: To limit risks of transmission, I have moved to an apartment in the cellar. The kitchen and dining/living rooms may be used at any time. These former "communal areas" are now private during your stay - just for you. 4 bedrooms (each sleeps up to 3 people, more if you don't mind being a bit squeezed) and 2 full baths.
