Firstly, ahuge thank you to George and Christina for letting us stay at their wonderful Property. As hosts they were absolutely wonderful and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived until we left . Christina is so lovely and showed us round the property how to use everything and seemed that absolutely nothing would be to much trouble if we needed anything at all. We have stayed in some wonderful properties all over Europe, Australia, Japan, and Morocco . This is definitely one of our favourite Airbnb‘s we have used. Firstly, the property is exactly as described. The photos are a mirror image of what you will see hen you arrive. One of the best things about the property is how homely it feels and the house has everything you need. My boys loved the basketball & pool the outside movie projector tops it off. I can’t say enough good things about Amalen. I found it on Air B & B and so I expected almost no interaction. Our stay was 5 star in every way. Jacob and the rest of the staff cared for us. They were so helpful. The breakfast was amazing and each day they knew we were headed out, they packed us a to go box…even on our day of departure. We had the best time and if ever in Crete would only stay with them again.

The owner and Maria (who runs the day-to-day operations) were so sweet, accommodating and helpful from the moment we got to the property and throughout. The property is immaculate with stunning views, You have absolutely everything you can need in a house for a comfortable short/long stay. The house is located on the hill and very private. Maria will take care of everything you need with a smile and a wonderful Crete hospitality. If you are looking for privacy and comfort outside of a busy city, this house should be your choice!

We have had the most magical week staying here. We had our 4 year old daughter and then my teenage daughter and her friend. The space worked perfectly for the five of us. The house is stunning, the views are breathtaking. Maria’s Taverna has the most delicious traditional Greek food. We also discovered the Enchanted Woodland walk which you can get to right from the doorstep- our little one enjoyed following the red and white markings along the trail. We hope to return as soon as possible. Thank you so much!

Absolutely stunning Airbnb - the views are as pictured. Loved waking up to the sea. The rooms were cleaned and beautifully maintained by the cleaning lady. We were just two in this two bedroom so we had space to spread out but it could easily accommodate four. Loved having breakfast on the balcony with the view of the village and the ocean.

The house and location was fantastic - beautiful gardens, pool area and views. A few minutes drive from shops and coast, 15 minutes walk to local village and good tavernas. Inside house was lovely, clean and spacious. Only downside was downstairs 3 bedrooms were not as light and spacious as upstairs rooms. Some of us swapped bedrooms part way though our stay in the interest of fairness! Overall lovely relaxing holiday Thankyou.
