100-year-old log cabin

A 100-year-old rebuilt log sauna cabin in the tranquility of the countryside. A good night's sleep is guaranteed by a futon mattress and the opportunity to enjoy the sauna in the warmth of the wood stove while admiring the lake from the landscape window, in the summer you swim in the clean-watered lake, in the winter you jump into a refreshing ice hole. You wash with water heated with a traditional bucket. The needs are done in the outdoor toilet. There is no rush here, but the rest of the world is forgotten. Still, only a half-hour drive from the city's services.

Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

Welcome to relax in the lap of the forest! Ranta-Mäntylä is located on the shore of a beautiful and fishy lake (Kallavesi), in the midst of nature, in the yard of our home, just a 25-minute drive from the cities of Kuopio and Leppävirta. The property includes two buildings. The heated cottage comfortably accommodates two people. There are sleeping places for two in the sleeping barn during the summer. Guests have access to a grill, a sup board, and a rowing boat. An additional fee for using the hot tub. Please book a hot tub in advance.

Welcome to enjoy the wonderful lake scenery. You have the entire apartment and a spacious glazed balcony facing the lake. At the house's dock, you will find a summer cafe, Cafe Sillan Alla. There are also guest boat berths at the dock, so you can get there by boat. The convenience store is only 100 m away. The area has good exercise terrain and sports fields. The ski trail starts next to the house. Your car has a reserved place in the garage. A bus stop can also be found in the immediate vicinity of the house.
