Beatiful loghouse by the lake ”Juojärvi”. The lake is one of the purest in Finland. Crystal clear water and wild nature around the Villa makes it perfect for relaxation and rest. Running water and all modern household devices are availble for you to save time for yourself. The nearest town (Outokumpu) is about 25 km away. Perfect for people who like to enjoy both easy relaxation, sauna and swimming in clear water as well as canoing, hiking and solitude. The Valamo monastery is at the same lake.

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

The cottage is located at the bottom of the bay, in the heart of Savo, in the village of Kosula in Tuusniemi, on the shores of the clean Lake Juojärvi. The beach is child friendly and shallow. There has never been blue-green algae in the lake. Smoking inside the cottage is prohibited. Paikka on upea! Raijan mökki on kompakti: pienehkö, mutta hyvin varusteltu. 8 hengen porukkamme mahtui mukavasti viettämään viikonloppua. Mökki ja aitat olivat ihanan viileitä vaikka ulkolämpötila oli jo reilumpi. Holvisauna tarjosi mielettömän upeat ja lempeät löylyt kerralla koko porukalle. Raija ohjeisti mökin käyttöön kattavasti. Mielelläni palaisin kohteeseen joskus uudelleen! 👌🏻

This is an exceptional cottage in a beautiful and private setting. We couldn't see neighbours through the forest and were able to enjoy the lake in peace too. The lake was a good size (not a pond), and joins onto a bigger lake which was great for a rowing boat trip. The cottage itself is not big, but cosy and fine for two people with a pull out sofa and warm at night. It had everything you need, like firewood, candles, matches, repellant, drinking water, basic kitchen supplies (salt, oil, etc.). The sauna (with lake water) and grill were easy to use. The tensile was a novel experience but may be a bit slanted for some sleepers. Great value for the space, privacy and beauty of the place!

The location and the place were wonderful. The house in itself was huge and therefore a very convenient place to stay for our group. The furniture and the equipement were all very fine. Furthermore, the place is located directly to the bank of a river, with a very nice view. It was a very nice and enjoyable experience that we would definitely recommend.

A sandy beach area is framed by gentle trees, leading to a calm lake. Two lounge chairs sit on the sand, and a wooden dock extends into the water. The surroundings display a peaceful natural landscape, with greenery and distant trees visible across the lake.
